I went today for my daughter's school confrence . This is my daughter's first year in school. She has never been in a school setting before keep that in mind.
The teacher thinks she has A.d.d. becuase she gets easly distracted looking at what other children are doing. Also becuase she won't talk in school.
My daughter is very smart. She is new to all this stuff. We worked all night on writting the letter A and she got it.
Is A.d.d. overly dignosed? Does it sound like she has A.d.d.

She has been toiled trained for a while now and I have used the pull ups at night. Some times they are wet sometimes dry in the morning. I decided to stop using them but no luck. She does pee pee in her sleep. Is this common, does anyone else have this problem? I don't think its considered bed wetting at this age...your stories with this subject??? Thanks!

My son will be 3 for this coming feb. So far i have not put him in playschool or learning schoo. I am all alone whole week with my son and he see his daddy once a week for one day. My son is going crazy. I know u all say put him in playschool. But since i dont know driving my husband says first learn driving and put him in playschool. But he never even wants to be with his son once a week. on weekends he just sit at home watch t.v or before computer. When will my little one get to spend time with his daddy?
Or i have a an option that i can go back to my country and put him in playschool, to learn driving now it takes time and while i learn driving i have to put him in playschool which is not near to my home there is one which is far and already cold out here.
Please suggest me should i have to go back to my country for my little one's sake?

My 3 1/2 year old son has been potty trained for at least six months. In the past two days he has peed in his pants three times -- each time claiming its an accident but really he just did not want to stop playing or stop watching his movie. How do I get through to him that he needs to stop what he is doing and use the potty? For background, he attends preschool three days a week, it never happens at school, and he has a 14-month-old sister. This is driving us (mom and dad) a litle crazy so any suggestions welcome!

Thanks.

She has been on Glycolax for 9 months now and still tries to hold her legs together when she feels a BM. She tries to stop the stool but most times it will soil her diapers leaving her with "nuggets." She gets rashes and refuses to use the potty. I am going nuts changing diapers and trying to get her to drink her medicine so she goes most days. Potty training is out of the question at least for now... Please help!!!

My 2 year old daughter used to eat bananas, blueberries, and strawberries. Now she won't eat any. They're not in season anymore so I bought frozen, but she doesn't like them. I tried putting it in smoothies, yogurt, even mixing it with cool whip and it doesn't work. I've put it in front of her for 3 weeks and nothing changes she just refuses. Her doctor says "keep trying" Anyone have any other ideas? I can't bribe her with a reward because she is a late talker.

I have a 4 year old who is sometimes the sweetest little girl. Her father and I are seperated and we switch days. As far as I know, when she is at her dads she has her moments but for the most part is pretty well behaved.

When she is with me, I cannot get her to listen to me. I have tried everything you can think of. I cant get her to go to sleep. I tried the pretty princess room, having her help me pick things out. When she comes into my room at night I try bringing her back over and over. I dont know what else to do. And one other thing is that when she has friends to play with she is very independent and she goes to daycare without any problems, loves doing things by herself and is very smart but when we are alone she wants to be with me every single second and does not give me 5 mins to do things I need to do. I love that she likes to be with me, but its hard when she does not listen to me. What should I do?

My 3 month old son went to the doctor and she said his hips were popping and set him up with x-rays. After I left I thought why didn't I ask what this could be. She didn't seem all that concerned but she did set him up with xrays. Anyone have any ideas of what this could be? Maybe someone could ease my mind

My Baby just turned 2 years old and he only says 2-3 words. He was born with a cleft lip and palate that has already been corrected. I am worried because he is not saying much. He understands everything, he is a real smart kid but his speech is way way behind. Any advice please.

She just turned five, and really likes her sippy cup ... my father does not agree with it at all, but my brother and his wife seem fine with it.

Thoughts?
