Before you start training him is he showing signs that he is ready? Such as having a dry diaper after waking up from a nap? Or staying dry longer? Those are signs suggesting that his body is ready for the training.
With my older son I was able to put underwear on him. He hated the idea of being wet. NO absorbency with underwear. He started using the potty. Please note when I put pull ups on him he went in the pull ups.
With my little guy. I have to let him go around in his birthday suit. The wet underwear doesn't bother him too much but the pee running down his leg does. He runs to get a diaper and gives it so I can put it on him. That's when we go to the potty.
I try to make it where we do a potty dance, have him flush the toilet after.

I have a girl and a boy. The girl, we tried little paper things with a picture on it. You dropped it in the potty(kiddie pottie) and when they peed the picture would disappear and there was a chart they could stick a star on to show they went pottie. My boy liked the candy reward (not such a good idea but only lasted a couple of months) before he would go regular on the toilet by age 3. Girls usually sooner. The key is to get them into their special underwear (like spongebob or something) so they can be proud of not wearing diapers. good luck

We had a few problem with my 2 12 months historical daughter. We ultimately bought all of it running after we observed the proper procedure. We used whatever she adored (M&M's) and provided her an M&M deal with each time she went at the potty. She handiest bought the deal with if she went potty, however she bought the deal with despite the fact that she handiest peed a bit. We had her potty expert in not up to 3 days. So uncover out what he lives and present it to him each time he effectually makes use of the potty. But due to the fact that youngsters will also be so exceptional, you under no circumstances recognize which procedure will be just right for you. Never overlook, commonly it simply is not the proper time and they don't seem to be really in a position. So the hot button is now not dashing them into it, however permitting them to cross at their possess speed (aided lightly via the promise of a present). BTW be definite to place handiest undies on him, do not allow him put on diapers besides for for the duration of naps and at the same time drowsing at night time. There will customarily be a couple of occasions whilst he pees at the ground, however in any other case it is going to make his potty coaching cross quicker.

Are you talking about behaving or potty train?

You need to give him the guidlines and remind him of them, do not change the roles on him and make certain you are consistant. That way he isn't getting mixed messages about what he can and cannot do.

GOod luck

two is a little young! many people have told me with boys potty training dos not usually work until the age 3! maybe you should give him a little more time, unless he is showing interest in it! then you can try, but don't puss it to much!! :)

Don't be so hard on him. He may not understand things clearly yet. When trying to discipline your child, be more subtle and mild. Play games with him. Use Tickle Me Elmo TMX. He'll love this doll and will do anything you ask him to. So, check out this site http://www.upkb.com/elmotmx.php for more product tips and details.
