Your dr. is right. Kids tend to eat what their bodies need at this age. Keep offering a wide variety fruit with other healthy options as well but don't make a big deal out of it. More than likely she'll start eating the fruit again soon and decide that anything green is off limits. My dr. once told me that as long as you offer a healthy diet, then your job is done.

My son will eat oranges untill he throws up because he can't eat anymore. Try orange segments. If you don't know how to segment an orange, try canned mandarins. And don't make it a struggle. You have to act like you don't care. Even if she's not talking much, she knows that she has power over this one area, and toddlers love it. She may be doing it simply to have control of the situation. To get her past this, if she won't eat it, leave it on her tray while you clean the kitchen for a while. Periodically, go up to her and take a piece, and eat it. If she's screaming, take her out of the chair, and calmly put her on the floor. Don't get flustered, because she will see it if you do. Keep eating the fruit off of her tray. After a while, and it may be minutes or days, she'll start eating it because the power struggle is over, and it's not fun for her anymore. And I would do canned over frozen, because frozen is really mushy when you defrost it. It's better for pies and other recipes than eating plain.

I don't like frozen fruits either. I'd try all different fruits, not just the bananas, blueberries and strawberries. Try applesauce, peaches, pears (they have fruit cups you can get), pinapple, etc. Try all different ones. Then go back to the banana and see if she'll eat it... if not, don't try every day...give it some time. I know I hated spaghetti and lasagna as a young girl, then I loved it, then I hated it again, and then loved it. Weird...even my parents thought it was weird, but it happened. Try all kinds of foods, not just particular ones... my parents didn't do this with myself, and I am SUPER picky and don't eat a lot of foods. I do love fruits and veggies though- we always had a lot of different of those.

My best friend has the same problem w/ her boys and her Doctor suggested to make up a Prize Chart. She has all fruits listed and if he eats some each day, she places a star and at the end of the week he is rewarded w/ a few dollars for the Dollar Store - Lunch out of his choice

Being a late talker has nothing to do with understanding speech. I won't eat frozen fruit either. No junk food, no chips, no juice. Cook well rounded meals, no snacks. All will be fine. Drop the issue of trying to make her eat one particular thing. She is smarter than you think.

One of the big things kids do - is imitate! Are you eating fruit in front of her? Offer her a bite of mommy's - or a piece of it. But don't stop if she won't eat yours - she's paying attention. Just keep doing it!
And, it's good for us grown ups too.
If you can still get her to eat veggies, then not eating fruits is okay. Just try and limit the junk food (Hard right after Halloween!)
Best of luck!

cut the fruit into shapes.Make the food fun put some ingredients in front of her and let her choose what toppings she wants. You have to make it fun. We call broccoli tree stars in our house from those little foot movies. My daughter loves it and she is 4.

Maybe you could try putting them in a blender and getting them kinda liquid-y...Then putting them in fun molds, Like her favorite cartoon character or something?? Putting them in the fridge, And then giving them to her?!?!
Or, Instead of actually feeding her fruits, Give her fruit juices?
