they don't always put them first? Every decision I make is based upon how it would affect my children, my ex on the other hand, I don't know what's going through his head. He's so hurtful towards my son, so negative, so neglectful. They were out and about today and they didn't stop for my son to use the bathroom so he had an accident. My ex informs me of this tonight and orders me to bring over a change of clothes for him or he's going to send him (our son) out in the the cold (where we are at it's 40 degrees) in shorts. He tells me it will be my fault when he's sick because I refused to bring clothes over for him to change into. It's true though, I don't send clothes over but it's only because he never returns the spares and I can't afford to replace what he doesn't feel like giving back. If I did send clothes eventually my son would have nothing to where to school. The worst is he has a washer and dryer so he could just wash the clothes for him (our son) to wear.

My older sister had her son and for the first five years of his life was constantly going out, and going to work, and my mom was the one who did most of the raising for her, now my little sister is pretty much doing the same. I on the other hand believe that ifyou have the kids, you need to be the one to take care of them. I have two children, 3 and 1. Iive pretty far away from my family, and i do a pretty good job of raising my kids with my husband. My neice and nephews get away wit alot of stuff, as well as getting almost anything they want so they dont cry. I dont treat my children like that and i dont coddle them when they cry for no reason. but when i come and visit i always get into an argument about why i wont let my son have juice after 6pm, or why i wont let him have cookies for breakfast. Or weather or not i should go running to my daughter when she gets mad about the fact that the toy she had isnt in the right position. i dont want to stop coming over, what can i do?

MY 24year old is spinning out of control quickly. She's in credit card debt over her head. She works 2 jobs to pay it off. She doesn't take care of her car or her room. I just found out about how she smokes a pack a day and I KNOW she can't afford that. Her sleep schedule is all messed up because she works nights and afternoons. I also just found out from here sisters she's been seeing a guy from work who's almost 30 years older than her. I talk to her and she just gets nasty to me. She doesn't live with me anymore but I'm worried somthing bad's going to happen

My daughter seems to be in the bathroom a lot tonight. She will be5 years old next month, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to help.

She is getting plenty of water down. She says her stomach doesn't even hurt. I assume it was something we ate (went to a relatives for dinner and my wife isn't feeling hot now either).

I was about to run up to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist if there is something she can take with her age, but all around me are closed this time of night.

So, any tips?

I wanted to know what everyones out look on vaccines are. Do you vaccinate your children, why or why not? Have you researched vaccines or are you just making a society based desion? What do you think are the pro's and con's. ** I will start, I am VERY anit - vaccine, I used to not be and actually got my 14 month old son all of his vaccines up until he was 12 months. AT that appointmen the doc told me to make sure Kendetrick wasn't sick at his 15 month appointment because he was getting the MMR shot and it is liked to Autism! So, I started researching,- I research EVERYDAY possible, I have decided to NOT vaccinate my son further because the risks of the vaccine really outweigh the risks of him getting any of these 'childhood disease'. PLUS the ingrediants of vaccinations.MOST vaccines contain Mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde, aborted fetal cells, animal cells, ect... If you look at the death rates there are far more deaths from vaccines the there are from the disease we vaccinate against

I was watching recently a episode of Wife Swap where one household valued competition while another household did not. Do you believe that a family in the 21st Century should value competition? Why or why not?

im so pissed, yesterday my mom said i couldn't go to my friends so i was mad but not as mad as i am today. so i asked again today if i could go over to her house and she said no again. this time i asked for a reason and she said its cause im not following the rules her boyfriend just made. well they are stupid rules.my mom never pays attention to me anyways so why would she want me here. so i am thinking about walking to my friends house since it is only at the front of the neighborhood. would that be counted as running away or something like that? and yes i have walked to my friends house before i did like every other day during summer. should i walk to my friends house? i have a cell fone and stuff so she could call me when she actually sees im not there. im 13 almost 14 if that matters any.

My neworn baby is 3 weeks old and has very bush brushy eyebrows. Everytime someone comes over to see her they laugh and comment at how wild she looks. I am tired of their snickering and want to do something about it. I am thinking of arching her eyebrows myself. She will look so much better. Her eyebrows are wild and cover her entire forhead. Should I use regular tweezers or do they have baby tweezers for this? Help please!

I can't get over the foul mouths I hear at bus stops and on the city busses in my city. The jr. and sr. high school students (as well as a lot of older people) do not seem to know any other way to express themselves besides the "f" word. I find I am very offended by these children and their language. I also feel upset that when I have a young child with me I don't want them listening to that. Whatever happened to respecting others?

To spank or not to spank? Why has this become such an issue? If you are for it and it works for you great. If your not and that works for you great But what I want to know is why have we become so obssesed about this issue. Does it really matter how other people discipline their child{barring serious abuse} as long as it works and the children are loved and cared for?
