Since it depends on the size of the apartment, where you are located, usage, etc., your best bet it to call your utility companies and ask them how much the cost was for the previous renters of that apartment. That's what I have done in the past.
Congrats on your new place! Enjoy!

It all varies by where you live and how much of it all you use monthly. Electric heat is more expensive than other means of heating also. A tip; we've found it more economical to leave your heat set at a confortable temperature, rather than changing it constantly. With regards to everything else, like I said, it varies with your location and the amount you use each month. All three of these utilities are included in the one bill and last month it was on $250, but a friend of mine who has a smaller house, spent close to $500 for his monthly usuage. Best bet is conserve as much energy as you can to save those pennies for a rainy day!!

I would call the local companies that will providing the services and billing. ie.. Electric co, gas co, H2o, etc... I was able to get a yearly average and they were able to break it down for me so I knew how much it would go up in the winter (heating) as an example. It can get VERY expensive so be conscious so there are no big surprises! Congrats and good luck!

It depends on where you are and how much you use. In New York we can call the utility companies and ask what the previous bills were. I don't know if they'll do that where you are but it's worth a try.

It all depends on the size of the apartment, whether it is insulated well, if it has a washer/dryer and dishwasher, and your amount of consuption. I live in British Columbia in a 650 sq.ft. condo without a washer/dryer, and we pay on an equal payment plan of $28/month.
