My daughter seems to be in the bathroom a lot tonight. She will be5 years old next month, and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to help.

She is getting plenty of water down. She says her stomach doesn't even hurt. I assume it was something we ate (went to a relatives for dinner and my wife isn't feeling hot now either).

I was about to run up to the pharmacy and ask the pharmacist if there is something she can take with her age, but all around me are closed this time of night.

So, any tips?

awww-i had this problem last week associated with vomitting-however my son is younger. Use the BRAT diet-bananas, rice, applesauce and toast. Of course the typical gingerale, and i was in wal*mart the other day and i saw that they had children's ( i can't even remember the name of it haha the pink stuff in the bottle haha im gonna kick myself later for this, but its in chewable tablets for children.) Popsicles and gatorade, and rest. Hope she feels better!

Just let it run it's course. It's so hard as a parent to stand by, but her body is working how God made it. She is expelling what she needs to, and if you give her anything, it will only keep it in her system longer. Lots of water and TLC. What a caring dad!!!

A naturpath told me believe it or not. Coke!!. I have used this with mine each time for gastro and it works. A couple of tablespoons an hour. If it is food poisoning then you need to see a doctor

Yogurt. It contains similar bacteria to what is naturally in your intestines. It will help replace some of the bacteria lost due to the diarrhea while the body has time to heal.

Just make sure she gets enough to drink so that she doesn't get dehydrated. Juice is probably better than water. When she's ready to eat give her bland foods (apple sauce, saltine crackers)

Bananas seems to work on my boys. I wouldn't suggest letting her eat a bunch because it may constipate her but maybe one or two a day. In general, you may want to consult your physician about changing her diet.

SERIOUSLY , GIVE HER EITHER APPLE SAUCE TO EAT , OR MIX DRY JELLO WITH WATER , AND THAT WILL CHECK IT .
