My grandmother died last night and my 3 year old daughter was kind of close to her. We went to see her a couple of times a week while we lived near her and after we moved she talked to her on the phone once a week. I dont know what to tell her to help her understand whats happened. She asks to talk to her great grandma and I don't know what to tell her. Any advice.

I specifically instructed the school that only myself and the kids grandparents are permitted to do so - the man is not known to the school. I am fuming!

My little one is almost 14 months old and he throws the worst tempers ever when he doesn't get his way. And when he does get mad he will try to hit you with things and throw things at you and just scream bloody murder until he gets what he wants. What is the best way to handle this, and how do I discipline him when he hits people. I mean when he hits you it really hurts it put a bump on my head before. PLEASE HELP

What would you do if your kid was nasty to you a lot and started using drugs and than lied to you. And than he took your car without asking and left and didn't tell you where he went so the next morning you were late for work. And than you found out he left the doors on the car open all night with the keys in it. And that he would speed around with his friends. He quit work by just not going because he was lazy. And that he also just stopped going to school because he felt like it. And if he called you at 12 for a ride because he to dum to be out. And if he broke in the basement door twice just because he didn't have his keys. Tell me what you would do!!!

Describe why you like it. What kind of "family car" would you rather have. Why?
We are in the market for a family car we are trying to stay under $30,000. I have decided on a Mazda 5. But I just want to see if there is anything better out there before I make a $25,000 mistake.

would you mind posting a pic of your child if they have long hair? My son has long hair and always gets mistaken for a girl, even after you tell them hes a boy!

I have 3 kids: 5, 2 and 1 and they all still believe, however, some of our friends think that kids should know the gifts come from the parents as they work hard to buy them stuff and not Santa. I hope that my kids believe as long as they can - do you agree?

How does sexuality or violence affect a child? Have any young brothers/sisters/cousins that are somehow affected by video games? positively or negatively.

Mine would have to be Oppenmeal (oatmeal) by my youngest daughter... Oatyum (oatmeal) by my oldest son... and quash quash (wash cloth) by my oldest daugther. They had so many cute ones but those are the ones that stick out in my head!

Last week my son's 4th grade class had show and tell. My son wanted to show the class what "daddy gave him for his birthday" but luckily the teacher stopped him before he got his pants all the way off. I think this incident may have raised some suspicions.

someone asked this and i thought it was funny so i reposted it!!

ok little question here, i work in daycare with toddlers. i got shouted at today by my team leader (the highest supervisor in the building) for calling a child a "good boy" for drinking his water in a cup with no lid.

please tell me is she talking utter rubbish to annoy me (she has a habit of just giving orders because she knows shes the boss)

i have never heard of this rule before, only that u cant say "bad boy"

she said i need to say "great boy" in stead of good boy but thats the exact same thing if u ask me!

if u cant say it i would have loved to have known when i started my job (2 years ago!!!!!!!!)

I was in the grocery store with my daughter and this woman just laid into her son who had to be about 4 or 5 and it made me physically ill. I wanted to say something but I was at a loss for words. What do you do in this situation?

Ok heres the deal, Ive sought therapy...Ive been on all sorts of medication for depression and PPD...nothing seems to work. I feel incapable of taking care of her the way I should. And no I have no family to take her or I wouldnt even be on here asking others for their opinions. I keep looking for the right medication to stop me from feeling this way....but obviously I havnt found it yet. Its not like I hate her, I miss her when shes gone and see how cute she is....I just cant deal with being a mother. I never gave her up cuz I felt it was the worse thing I could do and kept thinking that someday I'll be able to be a normal mother....
