Every child is different. Some dont even start until after they've turned one years old. Either way if he is or not, make sure after feeding him, you take a wet washcloth and clean his gums off. This takes off any milk just sitting there, which can cause tooth decay later on. If your son is teething, you can also take a wet washcloth, freeze it in the freezer, then let him gum it. Helps with the pain. My son loved it better than those teething rings.

Its not to early for him to be teething. Just make him comfortable, I gave my daughters my knuckle to suck on, I washed my hands of course lol, that solved the problems. Try a cold wet wash cloth and I just heard today on Fox News that some teething rings may contain some lead, so watch that they are made in the USA and not outside the Country. If that doesnt work try baby orajel. Good luck with this.

well, i have a 4 month old who has been teething since he was 2 months old. so its very possible that your baby is teething. you dont say WHY you think that he is teething. but if the baby is fussy , and drooling, then most likely teething.. at around 2 or 3 months they start trying to put things in there mouth and ususaly there hands.. they chew on them, then yes it is teething.
i would reccomend seeing your baby doctor to rule out any other problems such as colic or any other illness. your doc can be valuable in helping.

Probably, since babies usually begin teething at around 3-4 months.

The signs of teething are drooling, chewing on fingers, crankiness.........but every child is different, my 3 and a half month old is just getting those signs, but check with the doctor to be sure.

I know a baby that was born with teeth! Strangest looking baby I ever saw. So, no, it's not to soon. What would you be able to do about it anyway?

yes, its way too soon for him to be teething. How did you come to that conclusion? Is he drooling a lot? Does he have a fever, or spotchy skin around his mouth? Did you stick your finger in his mouth and feel any rough spots? He may be just cranky or have colic. But defintely take him to his pediatrician so you can have the peace of mind in knowing whats going on.

It's possible he's getting teeth but it would be unlikely. He could have something else causing him to be fussy like an ear infection. A lot of times babies will get ear infections that will give them similar syptoms.

I doubt it, but it is possible. Some babies are even born with a tooth or two. It's rare, though. Why do you think he's teething? Is he really fussy? He could just be gassy.
