I have a Toyota Sienna minivan.
It's great for toting all the kids and their friends around, and it's nice and roomy. Stylish, too!

I'm not a mom, but the good things about a minivan are that when your children have friends over, you won't have to take multupul cars. You also can have more than one kid in there, and not worry about who's touching who, or whom's in whom's space. The worst parts are that you have to get more gas, and it's a little harder to keep clean. I'm not really sure what minivan we have, but it has 4 individual seats, and an connected seat with 3 spaces.

I thought i would never see myself as a minivan mom and here I am. I have 3 daughters 11, 7, and 5. The minivan is wonderful in taking trips and when they have friends over. We don't have to take two cars, just one. Also, they can be spread out so they can't fight or say they don't have enough room. If you are interested in buying one I would suggest getting one with a DVD player, it comes in handy on long trips and you don't have to hear ARE WE THERE YET! quite so often. I have chevy venture 2001. Good Luck on your selection.:)

I have a 2006 Ford Freestar
To start with...I hated Fords, I hated Minivans...swore I'd never drive one....but I am soo in love with mine...just don't tell my husband...lol.
I love the fact that the kids all have plenty of room to sit and stretch out...we have 4 from 14 - 8 years old...yes a kid every other year!! They each have their own cup holder and they have their own spot in front of their seat to stash their books and electronics. With the Freestar the back seat can flip over to stare out the back door which is great for watching outside sports activities!!
Our van has two sliding doors instead of one which is really nice. It is drives really smooth and it's pretty speedy!! I was surprised.
I haven't found anything I hate about it. It does cost a bit more to fill up with gas but it has great gas mileage so it doesn't bother me too much. It costs me less than $50, if gas is under $2.50 a gallon, to fill it up.
Hope this helps you out some. :)

From a stay at home dad - Honda minivan 2004, it's roomy, not only can I drive my children around, but I can also drive the neighbors children without much of a problem. The worst part - washing the roof of the van

Are you kidding? Everything! You sit higher so you can see better, room for the kids and all their friends and all the junk, great to use when moving, camping, biking. Great to have one with a DVD player, not to bad on gas. Long enough to sleep in and so versitale, you just can't go wrong owning one! I had an 89 plymouth voyager for 14 years and I miss it so much!

The best thing about a minivan is that you can separate the kids when they fight.

Best thing is when the kids are getting on your nerves you can put them all the way in the very back row of seats so they wont feel like they are sitting on top of your shoulders talking to each other!
