My son tells me now that at the time it was funny .
but at a certain time my voice and words would come to his mind.
When he was a Young man and playing the fields I 'd tell him( remember if you unzip your pants get ready to unzip your wallet) .
But the one thing I made share of is that my son knows how much I love him unconditionally .
He is not a mom's boy and he is 30 years old now and I still tell him how much I love him.
He'll be an old 60 year old fart and still be my baby.

I want my son is know that life is not about abusing others. He is growing up seeing his father (we are not together and haven't been in 10 yrs - son is 12) abuse all the women that the has dated and now is current wife. Even though my life is showing him better he is still drawn to his dad's way of life. I want the best for my son in education, love, and a good career.

such a bold question....

The most important thing that I want for my kids in the future is to all ways have a place they can call home. Having a loving and structured home is the most valuable thing my parents have ever given me, and I want my kids to have the same.

I would want my child to know his/her roots. I think there's something comforting knowing where you came from (it may take the shape of stories, languages or even inherited traits). I would also chronicle special moments in his/her life as kids love to hear stories of themselves or see pictures particularly through the loving eyes of their parents. Lastly, I would hope that my growing child would try his/her hand at sports, arts, travel and all the other wonderful experiences life has to offer.

Be specific, with such a broad question? ;)

I want them to have peace and satisfaction with their lives, wherever that may lead them. How that is achieved and how it comes for each person varies tremendously and cannot be codified, I think.

To have the potential to achieve that I think that a sound education and a strong work ethic are important foundational components.

An education is very important...whether it is from experience or a class...........It is crucial to spend your time as an investment.......
there is so little of it and what you involve in your daily lives will have a high impact of the outcome of tomorrow.
Enjoy your life each day.
