Did she start solid food? You might want to hang on one night bottle, but the best thing to do is to fill it with watter.

Uh, she needed to be broke at one, so no at 14 months that is not to early. Sometimes it hard for children to transfer, so let her play with the bottle (with nothing in it) and give her a drink in a sippy cup. Doing this will help her by seeing the well is dry, so to speak, and she will use the cup.

It depends on the child; some children are ready as early as eight months, but 14 months is about average.
Try encouraging her to drink mostly from a cup, but remember that the bedtime bottle may continue for a long time yet; I have a fieind whose son was six years old before he finally parted with the bedtime bottle!!
Just remember; there is no right time, it depends on when you and your baby are ready.

12 months is the right time, you need to get rid of the bottle now. Because your daughter can develop tooth decay because of the bottle. Even if she is drinking milk at night it's the same way. Get it away from her now! Don't let people tell you that after 12 months is okay. Your pediatrician should have told you this already! It will affect your child now. My son's teeth are white and clean and straight. Your child's teeth will become yellow and nasty and decaying right before your eyes. When the permanent teeth come in they'll probably be messed up

I think it is up to you. What are you comfortable with? My sister in law just broke her son of it and he is like 20 months old. Now I don't agree with being 3 or 4 and on the bottle but it is up to you. Also... my oldest daughter never had a bottle. She went from nursing (until 12 months) to sippy cups. No issues with her. Good luck

My son was off a bottle by 9 months. I started offering him a cup when he could sit by himself and by 9 months we was weened from the bottle. He had started to bite holes in the nipples of his bottles: that's why I weened him so early. At 14 months they can definitely handle being on a cup only. Try slowly introducing her to the cup. Like putting juice in the cup only once you start ofeering her juice and water in the cup dont go back to putting it in the bottle. It will take her some time to get used to it. Then start with milk. Good Luck and Take care.

I took all of my children off the bottle at different times, my oldest at 11 months b/c we had the second, he went off the bottle himself at 6 months, he wanted his brothers sippy cup, my daughter was 12 months just in time for my son who had to be off at 9 months for cleft/palate surgury. I think they should be off by at least a year, but you'll have to ween her off first, try offering her milk in a cup and water in a bottle, that's what worked best for me, good luck

With me myboyz threw there bottles away and this was around the time when they started getting teeth. They saw me using a cup and they wanted to do the same. But I thought they weren't old enough. My mother told me I did the same thing. When they threw there bottles in the trash and out the window. I knew it was time to get the child proof cups.

Usually around 12mos old. But I suggest you let her decide when she's ready to let that go. If she's like 16 mos old, still hanging on to that bottle, than you may wanna help her get rid of it. Try to get her used to a sippy cup. Try the ones that NUBY makes. They have a soft tip on it. They are really great.

We did it right at a year. Clean break, through the bottle and pacifier out of sight and said all gone. Here's your sippy cup... Never had a problem!
