My little girl is 2 years old and has very thick bushy eyebrows. They are connected and are about 5 inches thick and cover her entire forhead. I'm tired of people in the street asking me if they can brain my daughter's eyebrows to her hair. I want to get her eyebrows arched but I don't know if I should or if I do should I use tweasers or hot wax. Should I get my baby's eyebrows's arched?? Help please!

This might be a VERY difficult question to answer, but here it goes. I rasied my son (or had custody of him) up to 6 months of age. The day he turned 6 months, I was sitting in jail... both my boyfriend & I. My boyfriend (who is also the father of my child) & I lost custody of our son due to drug use. DSS (Dept. of Social Services) got involved. Anyway, to make long story short, what I am wondering is, does my son even know who I AM to him? Does he know I am his "mommy?" He is 14 months now (a little over a year) and I don't think he has a clue. I do have visitation rights and they are supervised (until further notice). My man's aunt has temporary custody of him. It gets to me that he doesn't show me affection the way he does her. I get jealous. I only see him like twice a month. Sometimes I think that he doesn't even know who I am and that I'm just another human being to him. It hurts. And for the record, I am clean/ sober and am trying to get him back. My b/f & I, both.

There are 6 children in the family. We have three and his brother has three. I always send either $ or a gift card for birthdays and Christmas. Two years ago his brother quit sending my children $ or gift cards on their birthdays. This year they have not sent anything for Christmas. The age range of children is 15 to 7. They make alot more money than we do and have made no explaination why they are not sending birthday "gifts" and today they have not returned our phone call (they live in another state) to wish them Merry Christmas and make sure the children got their gift cards. I always send them in a special card just for the kids. My kids don't understand why their Aunt & Uncle aren't sending them anything as they have always sent Thank you cards & called to say thank you as well. I'm just mad because they are hurting my girls feelings. Any suggestions?

My daughter turned ten in in September, and she has asked me about shaving her legs. The hair is rather thick and dark. I know none of her friends shave yet, but I was wondering if it would be O.K. if she started out with an electric razor first. I know I was twelve before I started. Any mothers out there going through this same dilemma?

i just turned 12 a few weeks ago and I feel like I'm growing up way to fast! I wanna stay and be a baby forever! I don't wanna grow up ever! I know I'm the opposite of most kids my age, because they would do anything to grow up fast, but I wanna be a baby forever! It makes me so sad! Kids grow up way to fast! I don't have a problem with make-up, but kids are dating and having sex so young! I wish It would stop because it maked it seem like all 12 year olds are like that! I'm not like that all! I wanna be with my mommy forever! It makes me cry to think about growing up! Please help!

The last time we talked he was suppose to see him for Easter, but he never did. He missed his birthday and all holidays since including Father's Day and Christmas.He has been in and out of my sons life.He didnt even enter his life until he was over a yr. old.
He has been in and out of prison.
He is suppose to pay child support, but doesn't.
I took him to court, but got no where.They gave him visitation, but he never uses it.
My husband has been in my son's life since he was about 6 months old.

My ex-husband has been dating someone for 6 months and they moved in together 2 months ago with another guy who has a child; I'm not happy about that situation, but can't do anything about it, so here's my problem. The other day my son told me his dad's gf spanked him for pulling down his pants and showing himself to another little boy. He's recently become aware of his private parts and I have talked to him about it and told his dad to do the same although I don't know if he did. My son said his dad wasn't around when this happened. For one thing, I don't think the situation warranted a spanking, but the bigger problem I have is that his girlfriend is the one that did the spanking. I don't feel that she or anyone else who isn't his parent has a right to touch my child that way. Am I in the wrong?

are all ready to go, I have alot of people coming over tommorow, and I really dont want to hear anyone make any reference to how much money I have spent.
My dad always makes reference to things like tat and its annoying.
This is my 4th xmas, I grew up a JW.
I have a 2 year old who I do spoil, and my dad has a 6 year old from a different mom than mine.
The thing is he is kinda tight with his money and always says things like "they grow out of things so fast, thats stupid"...I dont want to hear it, I dont tell him what to spend his money on!
I have only known him for about 5 years (im 26) so I dont really care what he says, but why does he have to add his 2 cents???

Mom talking here. I let the kids do chores here with me like take out the trash, rinse off their plates and glasses. At Dad's he does the dishes and one of the boys takes out the trash. Daughter 13, Son 10, Son 9. Should I give them an allowance? I feel sorry for them over at Dad's! I don't want them to think they will always get some money whenever they are here. If so for their ages what would be a fair amount for each age?
