Just curious as to how many other mothers or fathers had to rein in their children this morning with a spanking?

I find my self saying stuff that my mom said to me. I swore I would never say to my kids, but I find my self repeating history...
1) I'm sick and tired...
2) When the kids ask Why I respond 'because I said so'
3) This room is a pigsty (I've never seen one of those)
4) Don't say What to me....

My daughter wants a microscope and slide set for her birthday. Any suggestions on what would be a good to purchase for her? I would like to keep the cost of the microscope under $100 and any additional slide set under $40. Thanks!

my daughter gets medical from the state but they will not give it to me unless i fight her father through child support enforcement but i refuse to do that since he and i have a word of mouth agreement for him to pay 400 a month and he has been faithfully doing that for 8 years!!!! he is a good dad to do that, he is not ina ny way a deadbeat!!! I heard if i do go through child support enforcement, they will take money away and then send me like 250-300...is this true?

i have a 8 yr old daughter who i get 400 a month for from her dad in boston...me and my dad live in florida. me and him are good friends so we worked it out through word of mouth. Now the state will not give me medicaid unless i cooperate with child support enforcement, i refuse cuz her dad is doing a good job paying but now i can't get medical cuz i don't go after him and let child support enforcement take care of it. is there a way i can fight this so i can get some medical?? I do not think this is fair

I just found out I am pregnant a few weeks ago. I have this "friend" who now is saying that my 9 1/2 month old is going to suffer and end up hating me because of the new baby since I am "robbing him of his babyhood". Anyone have any children close in age? If so, have you noticed that this has effected them badly or made them hostile towards you?

THIS IS DEFINATELY NOT ME. someone i know is pregnant she already has one child who she feeds sweets and pre cooked meals to he is 3 all the time because she cnt be bothered to cook. she doesnt bother to put him to bed at a set time and just lets him fall asleep on the sofa. doesnt bother to take him to nursery because she cnt be bothered to get up. lets him run around in smelly napies as she cant be bothered to change them. when other people are around or she is out she never tells him off when he is naughty and expect others to do it for her. she cant be bothered to work and is on income support and now she has got pregnant to trap her boyfriend now. she is still smoking and blames this on her 3 year old son parently she is stressed by looking after him. she doesn't do anything alday. what do you guys think?

My 8 year old acts like she's 2 and I can't get any help for her-Any suggestions.I think it's cos she is attention seeking and no-matter how much I give her it's never enough.
She can paddy for 9 hours solid.
I've been everywhere for help
And she has been like this since birth.
No-one listens they say it's cos of this or that.
I was in a violent relationship but no-one gets it that she was like this before I met him.
I held her a lot as a baby and I think that may be the reason.
Any suggestions.cos I'm tired and she hits me.

Do they realize that brings people's attention to there behind? As parents doesn't that worry you?
Am I the only one who won't buy these clothes for my girls?
I know there could be a lot worse out there but i think this is just one of my pet peeves.

There was a case here in South Florida where 3 teenagers beat a homeless man to death with baseball bats. When one of the teens' mother was on the witness stand in court, she said that her son was a "good kid" who was probably influenced by his friends.
Why do parents do this? Why do they take responsibility away from their children and admit that what they did was completely wrong? In the video they showed on TV of this man getting beaten, it sure looked like her son was having a good time.

My husband wants more but our daughter has a heart condition and I am afraid that if I had another it would too. We are far from financialy stable. Also I am not sure how my daughter would handle all the crying and attention given to the new baby. I'm I being selfish?

I buy used books for my family and wipe them down with a wipey or a wash cloth with soapy water. But can gearms or blood on a dry suface hurt us if it is there? is my cleaning techniqe okay?

I cut my son's hair - he's three - and it looked great. Then my son's father got his new wife to change it because they didn't like it. I was pretty annoyed. But I also suppose that he is the son of two individuals, not just me. Would you be annoyed (or angry as hell, actually) or philosophical about it?

I was angry, but quickly decided not to worry about it.

Why don't other people have true love? It always seems like it's only one person trying. WHY? I hope that everyone can have true love.

Everyone complains about the bad relationships. Mine is really good. Sure we fight, but I am so madly in love with my husband, even after 3 children. Sometimes I think that I'm unlike everyone else since they just complain about their spouses. I can't believe I thought I was happy before I was with him.

He calls me beautiful when I am mad. He attempts to help with housework. He is the perfect Dad. We hold hands. We hug. He is unlike anyone I know or have even heard about. When I am shopping, I buy things that I think he would like, or groceries to plan out his favorite meals. The kids and I plan out things to do for Daddy. He lets me sleep in. He tests my coffee to make sure it has the right amount of sugar.

Does anyone else have this? Why does everyone tell the bad stories and not the good?

It seems that my son thinks that everytime my daughter gets something, he should too. How can I make him understand that isn't the case everytime? Are there any websites I can reference for more information on how to deal with sibling jealousy, rivalry, or compettions at their young ages?

I have a 17 year old son and lately he hasnt been going to school because he just wont get up. I ask him over and over try to pull him up but it just doesnt do anything. Also he LOVES the computer so when he doesnt go to school he doesnt get the computer,cd player,or anything. But he doesnt seem to mind. The school is calling me wondering why he isnt coming to school and all i can say is he just wont. My son also has some what of a learning disabilty and has sudical thoughts and uses them when he doesnt get his way. Please help. Conseling has been used but he acts like theres nothing wrong with what he is doing. HOW CAN I GET HIM TO SCHOOL.

It is really hard these days to like my girl. I will always love her there is no doubt there, but latley her attitude has been awful. I catch her in little lies, she is always mouthing off to me, and then When I ask her about it 9times outta 10 she says nobody likes me.
