I have seen questions on here, that have gotten some pretty mean answers. There is nothing wrong with alot of these questions, and hateful answers are completely uncalled for. I know, I know! We all have the right to answer whatever we want, but if you can dish it, you should be able to take it, and a good many of the people who give mean, hateful or judgemental answers seem to get their panties in a wad when someone calls them out on there comments. They can run their mouths in their answers, but if you IM them or send them an e-mail about their comments, they get offended or ticked off. If you said something nasty to someones face, you would expect them to comfront you, so why can't people take the backlash from their comments on here? It seems like it is mainly the people in parenting and religion sections. Parents are suppose to be more mature than that.

I know I focus on myself too much to worry about kids. I would rather not have them and just have a dog. My Husband already has kids from a previous marraige so he could care less. What do you think?

A lot of ppl say that having my own child will cause me to change. Actually, I'm not intentionally disliking babies or children; something about them just gets under my skin. Hubby wants kids and I would like to change my mind...but I don't want to risk having a child grow up with an unhappy mom. Plz share suggestions on how I might go about deciding. Thanks!

I lost my pack and missed three days in the first pack of birth control I have ever taken. When i first started the pill (first day starter) I bled for the first week and a half of the pills, four days later I lost my pack. the third week I bled very very very lightly only in the mornings for six days, no cramping. If that was my period I should start in a few days. I discontinued the pill for fear I might have gotten pregnant. I'm having a few signs of pregnancy but it would be about four days before my missed period. is there any way to tell if I ovulated and if that week of very light bleeding was a period?

My mom and I have had some disagreements about how much I should be allowed to see my boyfriend. She made this rule that we could see each other one night during the week from about 3-9 friday for the same amount of time and saturday but only after 5. Then she says we spend more time together than a married couple? I feel like we barely see each other at all, she regulates how long we talk on the phone and how many e-mails we send, I feel like she's obsessed with my relationship. I'm just wondering, what's a reasonable amount of time for 2 high school seniors to see each other, week and weekend. We've been dating for 15 months, by the way.

He almost burnt our house down twice because he passed out while cooking when he was drunk and high. He says he want to change but has said this before. I feel bad not letting him back in but I have a 16 year old daughter to think about. He has had friends that have been arrested for armed robbery. He wants me to forgive him.

I was told by a nutritionist that animal fats were part to blame in childhood obesity. None of my 3 children are over weight, but rather underweight for their ages/heights. I was questioning switching from whole milk to low fat milks. None of my kids have ever been over weight. Not now and not as infants. Its always been my thought that offering less startches and sugars, along with exersize (regular outdoor play) has prevented my children from having these problems. What is your thought?

Questions "I beat my kid and my friends think ..." Or "I make my kid drink my urine...." I'm very offended by these questions. I don't think they are funny and reported them without giving the asker the satistfaction of a reply. Am I the only one who has a problem with this? How do we find out if anything was done about it?

I am getting ready to have my son's thrid b-day party, he wants Cars as the theme. I tought about the loot/candy bags and want to make them like stop lights. I am looking for black paper sacks. Anyone know where to buy them? I have found them online, but they only sell in bulks of 100 or more. My other option was cellophane bags with black and white checkered or racing car desgines around them. Anyone seen those?

When I got married I heard a lot of people say things like:

"Marriage will ruin your life"
"Do you really want to be with just one person forever?"
"Everyone ends up divorced so why bother?"

I don't regret marrying, I am happier now than I have ever been!

People also bash children by saying:

"Children will just ruin your marriage, you wont have any time together!"
"Children just cause to much stress on a marriage!"
"Do you really want to give up all your freedom for 18 years?"
"You can forget about doing having any time to yourself ever again!"

We plan to start a family anyways, we still believe in love and children!

Why are so many people negative about the most wonderful things in this world like marriage and children????

Is there anyone out there with an autistic child? I have a 9 year old boy with autism and learning difficulties. He doesn't speak and i'm trying hard to toilet train him.

I also have a 'normal' five year old who sometimes finds it hard to understand.

It would be nice to know there are other people out there in a similar situation.......
