someone is receiving child support and the child doesn't live with her - the child lives in another state

As long as she is taking care of the financial responsiblity for the child then she is still allowed to collect child support (at least that's how it is in Canada). Plus it's up to the person who is caring for the child to say something ...

The person who is caring for the child should be the one to make the report/complaint. They can do that through a court or the division of child support services where they live.

Call information, ask for Child Support Enforcement Agency # in the area of the person receiving the fraudulent support.

I would call the child support enforcements and collections office in your state. This is usually handled by the Office of the Attorney General. They can investigate the Fraud.

At your local social security off, I would think. They can get you going in the right direction. OR, look up Department of Child Services. I would definately report it.

You have to have proof that they are recieving and the child no longer lives thier. But to the support agency.

contact the local states attorney. Just go to the courthouse in whatever town it is and report it, but you will need proof
