My son is 17 & I think he is having a sexual relationship with a soon to be 24 year old woman. Is there anything I can do or is he too old for me to have a say in it?

age of consent in SC is 16 for a male and 14 for a female. Sorry you are out of luck. Also be careful if you dont want the relationship to work out don't discourage it. Discouraging it will only make a teen want to do it more. Just grin and bear it and have good information for him if he asks for it. Hounding him will only place a wedge.

Not only is he to old enough but even if he was under the age of consent you THINKING something going on is not evidence. You'd need proof and that is very hard to come by. If you do not have a victims cooperation also would be a problem. Time to back off and let him be I'm sure he's closer to 18 than 17 anyway. At 17 he's a young adult not a child.

The legal age of consent in south carolina is 16 so there isn't much you can do about it and if you try then he will hate you and probably try to move out of your house which is also legal for him to do at 17.

What you're describing isn't "statutory" rape, it really is rape. The age of the criminal is irrelevant if he makes use of stress, besides the actual shown reality that as a minor he would no longer face an same consequences as an man or woman.

Honestly if younger then do something but since he is almost 18 and really know the difference there is not much to do. You can talk to him and the lady about it ans tell them what you think and the actions you want to take to see if that helps reverse the situation.

its legal mom age of consent is 14 in south carolina. it sucks i know. im from sc too

IT WOULDN'T GO FAR I KNOW BECAUSE I LISTEN TO DR. LAURA AT= 640 KFI in Califonia and she already talk about it.According to her the case would not make it far. Unless he was 16 or less.
