Ok, my stepson has now admitted that he stole my older brothers highschool ring. I have absoulutley had it with this crap from him. He has said that he understands that stealing is wrong but he keeps doing it. He is currently in counceling now, but has not discused the stealing problem with her yet. His birthday is coming up and as mean as this sounds I want to cancel his party. I already bought him a bike and I have told my husband that there is no way I am giving it to him now. I feel sorry for my stepson because he has had a hard time dealing with all the changes in his life lately, but according to his mom he has been stealing from her for a couple of years. If we don't put down a really harsh punishment then he is going to keep doing it and it is going to just get worse. Please give me specific punishments and advice for dealing with this. He just turned 12.

Since my stepson moved in with us about 3 months ago, we have caught him stealing about 3-4 times. It started out small and then the last time was $20.00 from me. We punished him and explained how wrong stealing was and asked him why he does it. He responded "It's a habit." He always appologizes, but given enough time, he does it again. We thought that we had finally gotten through to him since we havent seen anything missing in a few weeks, but we were wrong. When I was cleaning out from under his bed today, while he is at his moms for the weekend, I found my older brothers highschool class ring. My brother lives down the street and said that it has been missing for about a month or so and that he usually kept it on his bathroom sink. He thought his wife had lost it somehow, but obviously my stepson stole it. That ring is worth about $300.00. I am furious that he has done it again. I am tempted to cancel his birthday party to punish him. What can we do to stop this>

He says because Im self employed and earn a good living I can manage, however I have to buy a new house to accomodate and be back at work a week after childbirth to pay for the house etc. I want to claim what I am entitled to he earns a very good living and stay in a family sized house and this is his first child. As a parent, what would you do if you discover the the teacher of your Secondary 3 daughter wrote the word "IDIOT" next to a wrong answer in a test.

In Singapore, the peeved mother called the principal for an explantion and intends to bring the matter to the Ministry of Education. She felt that her daughter's self esteem had been distroyed. She claimed that her teacher called her daugther a potential "Ah Lian" ( check wikipedea for defination).

The principal verifed the facts & counselled both the student & teacher. He asked the mother to forgive the teahcer as he had been a good, passionate teacher who only want her student to change for the better.

The teacher had apologised to the student and clarified that what he meant was that the answer was idiotic not the student.

The student is undergoing counselling for matters unrelated to this incident....

In your country, would you do what the Singapore mother did?
What would you do? I grieved at our society!!!

ok..so I asked this question before, but here are some more details. I am a fourteen year old girl. Last night I had a sleepover with two guys. My mom and dad didn't know about it. I didn't purposely do it to piss her off or anything, but we were just hanging out and we decided to do it. I would have told my mom about it today i guess, but all my friends kept on scaring me about it. They kept telling me that their parents would be mad. So me and these guys are friends and I kinda like one of them but my mom doesnt know. so i figured she wouldnt be that bad, but i dont know. what would you do if you were my mom? and im not like a bad kid or anything I was just having fun. I really need to know what you would do because nowI am worried my friends mom is gonna tell my mom before Iget to it.I'm running out of space for more details but please leave me a detailed thing about what you woulddo if youfound out.

My whole House has Laminate flooring but it is looking like it all needs redone. Problem is im a crap housewife and the floors tend to be manky a lot(im getting better) and my hubby wants to get carpets. Personally i think carpet hides the dirt more and it doesnt matter if you hoover everyday there is gonna be dirt you dont see. I dont think carpets are hygienic. At least when i clean my floors i can see its clean and can use special anti bacterial stuff also( im sure its not recommended but i do).

The issue is when we have a baby( i will be ultra clean for babys sake, so no need to comment on this fact), hopefully by next year, i think we should keep the laminate or wood of some sort.

What is best in terms of baby?

When visiting a freind, her 8 year old said a four letter word. She took the child upstairs and while I waited, I heard the unmistakable sounds of a spanking. I was wondering, how many of you would do the same. FYI: I wouldn't

My wife and I are planning to have our first baby.

Hopefully if she gets pregnant right away, the baby will be when I am 26 and a half years old.

We will be together for nearly 6 years when the baby is born.

We will have a house and two cars paid off BEFORE the baby is born.

I have a steady job where I make a great salary, but I never work more than 40 hours so I will be with my family enough.

We have traveled and have a happy marriage!

We are hoping to have another baby born when I am about 29.

Do you think 26 years old is too young to be a father?

We don’t think its too young, but what do YOU think?
