It is the great design of the Universe. Certain things are designed so that the Universe can laugh at us.

It's all about routine. If your child (depending on age, I'm assuming 2-3-4 y/o) puts up a fuss on any of these occasions and you give in even slightly, it's only rational for the child to keep on being difficult. To remedy this, you need to be firm and follow through. Make them sit in time-out if they throw a temper, and then try again. Be consistent. Once a child realizes no benefit will come from being difficult, they'll be easy on you ... and they'll be happier too.

Some children have a difficult time with transition. My son always struggles with it daily. I always give him a warning for every routine event. For example I say "10 more minutes and you are having a bath, after your bath we are reading stories." He functions better with a heads up on everything we are about to do especially leaving the house. He is alot better now that he is older and thrives on routine. Children need to be able to predict their day and feel secure with a routine.

Sorry I don't have that problem. Mine was to get one of them to stay in bed and stop getting up. I fixed that by threatening to shut his door if he got up again. It worked.
Mine like to have their baths. I do it before tea so they get out to eat. If it is after tea i say if you want to read before lights out get out NOW. And sadly I wish I had the problem of getting them out of bed. They are awake and happy early though they are not allowed out of bed till 7.15. Can't wait till I have no.4 as a problem

Generally speaking, women make it difficult for men to get in and out, in and out... so by the time men are done, they leave women with something to ponder...

Kids don't want to stop playing around and do something. But, when you get them to do something, they might enjoy it and not want to stop.
