I'm no SAHM, but I imagine that spending the day shopping or at the spa would be a nice mommy treat.

Or if you're like my SAHM, she'd probably get loaded at the bar! :-)

She sounds jealous. i do not trust that many human beings have a lot of "authentic" friends. i'm truly chuffed with both or 3 good friends in my existence and one extremely extremely basically right pal. human beings come and pass yet i choose my little ones to hitch my existence continually. certain, I do on party go away my son at daycare for some previous established time, yet it really is time I used to get some grocery procuring executed, perchance time to %. up around the homestead for an hour a week or 2, yet I see that as time to be with my little ones more effective after we do get homestead. And it isn't on an typical foundation - I consider you - on the end of a lengthy day - i do not prefer to pass out and drink, i prefer to go back homestead and sing stupid songs, take baths, examine books and watch cartoons - it really is a lot more effective thrilling the staring at human beings I somewhat like get inebriated.

I know that feeling. What should I do with all of this freedom?!

I always have an ongoing list of things I wish I had more time to do: fun things, house things, errands, and so on. If I were you I'd try to gauge what I really need on this day: do I need some time to take care of myself? Is there a task that would make me feel really good if I got it done?

Whatever you decide to do, make sure that it's something that makes you feel good. Time off from parenting can be such a recharge. Enjoy it!

I'm a SAHM and if it were me, I would simply pamper myself whether it would be taking a nap, having lunch with a friend, a long bath, etc....

Anything to rejuvinate yourself so you will be rested up again when your son returns.

It's not a selfish act, it's a way of charging up your batteries!

Lucky you.

Pamper yourself with an hour at the parlour. Curl up in the bath with a good book and a glass of wine, just laze the day away, shop if that interests you, meet friends for lunch, or just chat for hours on the phone,.

Go shopping, go out to eat at a nice restaurant, go see a movie...you have the whole day, have fun! Better yet, time goes way too fast when you're having fun. I would just parlay at home!
