Hi I work at a daycare in the toddler class (12 months to 2 1/2 yrs) that is very normal. I have a 15 month old in my class and he walks but if you touch him he will get on his knees and start crawling. And he is lazy so he only walks when he wants to. Honey the point I am trying to get across is that the baby is only 13 months old. I didn't walk until I was 15 months old myself. It's perferctly normal. Before you know it she will be running so cherish the sweet innocence of her not walking now. Before long she will be in all the cabinets in the kitchen banging all the pots and pans.

Compleatly normal! They have to get used to walking before they do it well, just like talking, and eating and everything else. If she is still wobbly at age 2 or so, then worry, but you will find that she will get steadier on her feet quickly.

my 3 year old when he was 2 looked like he just started walking he turned 3 march and he just now recently is showing that he is stable in his walking so i think it depends on the kid and you might wanna just keep working with her..if you have a whole of conserns and feel its not normal have your baby doctor look at her and help you know if things are ok, its always good to watch your baby and always good to check things out..thats part of being a good mom..

WOW!
What a little go getter. She's doing above average. Don't worry except to keep her safe. Now you have to watch every minute to make sure she doesn't get into or fall into . She sounds smart! Good luck! Got your hands full.

You are a lucky one. Most babies don't walk until almost 18 months old. She is just starting to learn balance and you can help her by buying those harnesses that allow a baby to get around on wheels. Or you can allow her to attempt to walk freely by removing anything she can hurt herself with (pointy edges on tables, slippery floors, etc..)

sounds normal to me, but check with her doctor. watch her other activities to see if her hand , eye coordination is improving at the same time. watch her steps, some children still want to curl their feet.(these may be questions the doctor will ask you) if she does that get her good infant support shoes. if she pulls on her ears allot she might have fluid in them that also causes wobbliness even at that age.

Don't worry, beginning walking is just the way you described it. Give her some time and she will be walking like a pro.

Get her a walker to hang on to. Thats pretty normal. But do check with her DR.
