Well you've got to make sure you're acting like her real Daddy. You're not with her mother so you've already failed in that case. Here are some things real Daddy's do and these are all things my brother did after he divorced his children's mother. They both consider him their "real" Dad and are grown adults now.
1. Always expressed his wish to be with them.
2. Always spoke about their mother respectfully (fought in private)
3. Always was regular with child support payments and provided a lot of extras such as prom dresses, school supplies, etc.
4. When he had time with them he devoted himself to them totally reading books, giving baths, all the mundane things real Daddy's do.
5. Spoke to their mother at least once a week to find out how things were going with the kids--how was school, daycare etc. Had they made any new friends or passed any new milestones lost a tooth for example. This gave him things to talk to them about! It proves you really care.
Good Luck!

Being someones DADDY has to come from the heart. Make sure she understands that you are but let her call her what she wants as long as its appropriate. She will call you dad or daddy when she is ready, not all kids call their dad dad. But whatever you do do not force her to call you dad or daddy.

love and respect her like parents do, if you are not her dad the question of her dad will always be in her head as she grows older but she will understand if you are there for her as a father that there is more to been a dad than just making a child, but loving and caring and been there for her when she needs you the most is the best thing you can do then you will have her respect as a father figure but it takes time as at first she probably wont admit it

How old is she ?
If she is old enough to understand then you need to have a conversation about why she thinks you are not her daddy & only the boyfriend

This is a tough one, I don't know. How old is she?
You will need your ex-partners support in this and she wil need to teach her that the man living with her isn't her daddy. But then thats tough too cos she will need to trust and respect him as well as you.
Rather you than me, and good luck!

First of all chill! She sounds young, and she probably is just stuck on the word ,and idea of boyfriend right now,,,kids do that!
Just be a good daddy, and you won't have to convince her of anything!!!!!!

Actions speak louder than words. You haven't said how old your daughter is, but there is no greater love (in my opinion) than between a daughter and her Dad.
