In other words, they are just us bringing themselves (copies) into the world as us! This depends what sex the child is. If its a daughter then the mother is involved, if a son, the father is involved. If they are lucky and get both son and daughter in their lifetime as parents, they have created a new life for themselves through them.

I have a hard time with my 5 years old son. He simply refused to listen to me. I keep call his name or requested him something (like it is breakfast time or get his shoe on or bath time or bed time etc). I am soo frustrated and I am about to pull my hair out! He loves to push my buttons!!!

I'm not perverted. I just think that our children is our very own responsibility and I'm afraid that somehow they'll learn about the wrong idea of sex and masturbation themselves...

I'm going to get married soon and this one is truly one of my concern... I mean how should I talk about it with my very own children? Since my mom & dad has passed away long time ago, I wonder how every parent could deal with these....

I have an 8 yr old that has sucked her thumb since as early in life as i can remember and twirls her hair...She says this is the only way she can sleep so we let it pass, but now it is affecting her development teeth wise her front teeth are pushed out incredibly and starting to get crooked do to her thumb sucking, We have tried taking pictures of her doing this and showing people to stop her and tried to put socks on her hands and mittens even in warm weather, and of course we have scolded her numerous times in attempt to break her of this habit but nothing is working , we took her to the dentist and they told ehr if she doesn't stop now she will have a very ugly mouth and possibly be teased in the future which still isnt helping ....Any other possible ways to help please give me your opinion....I'm desperate if this doesn't stop soon my entire pay check will go towards dentist bills.

I'm 29.I have 2 kids - a son(9) and a daughter(4).My son smokes at home while I'm at work (the children are usually alone in the house, because I'm working all day and I can't stay with them and I don't know who their fathers are).My son smokes and I want to convince him that smoking is bad.How could I do this without herting his feelings? He is buying cigarettes and smokes in front of his sister and she sometimes asks him to try,but he hasn't allowed her to smoke till now.

I often wonder what it will be like in 15 to 20 yrs from now, when all of these kids grow up?

So many moms today have to go back to work. Financially its necessary. Some moms jump right back in.

These babies are then raised in daycare. Then, after 4 or 5 years of daycare, they are in school.

It must be so tough on them. Sure, socially, they will be used to things at a young age. But who's teaching them their morals if they aren't spending time at home.

So many of them are there all day. Then get picked up, come home, eat dinner, bath and then bed. Doesn't leave much time for love/affection, quality time with mom and/or dad, general basics that kids need to survive.

Anyhow, LONG and short...What will these kids be like???

A friend of mine confessed to me that she sometimes will pinch her child to hear him cry just so she could comfort him. Is this some kind of mental illness? Please no sarcastic answers, only those willing to help. Thank you

Any ideas?
I dont want to drive everyday either, as gas is not cheap.
Will my kid be fine?
