Just wondering how many other moms here used a baby diaper stacker in their homes?

When my first baby was born I received a diaper stacker from my mother as a baby shower gift, and I fell in love with it. It's the one that can be hung up inside a closet so diapers and things are always out of the way. Anyhow, I came across another one a few years ago at a garage sale in my neighbourhood and bought it. Today I keep cloth diapers inside on of them, and rubber pants and pins inside the other one.

What handy items they are.

I'm 33 years old and pregnant, the babies father has told me that he does not give a toot about me or the baby because I'm currently seeking government services because I'm on bedrest and receiving short term disability from my job, and I need to put him in the system and go thru child support, he does not want to be put in the system but has not helped me financially. I do not want him to see his baby because he has told me how he feels about us; should I keep him from his baby because of his remarks?

I have a 7 year old who just saw Monster House! (his dad took him) He has not slept in 4 nights now. he is even scared to go upstairs in his room during the day! I have tried everything. I made Monster spray for him. I reasure him that I wont let aything happen to him. I tell him to think happy thoughts. I have a nightlight on in his room. I am in and out of that room at least 6 times a night! I am exhausted I just want to yell and get mad at him by 4a.m. But I know that will make it worse. how do I get him over this fear and all of us sleeping again? I ask him what makes him scared he said it is too dark. And the monsters are breathing under his bed. I even have a fan on in his room to deaden the sound. CAn anyone help me please?

Personally, I'm uncomfortable with this particular cover shot. I realize breastfeeding is a whole-natural thing and that breasts aren't *just* a "sex thing". It seems a little pushy and over the top, though to just put it in your face like this...how many mom's who can't breastfeed are going to feel additional pain or guilt when they see this? How many who chose not to breastfeed are going to feel that much more like they're being chastized for not doing so?

This pic alone reminds me of being in Red Lobster a few years ago trying to eat Clam Chowder soup when a lady at the table next to us just whipped out her breast and fed her child right there for all to see...no cover, no nothing. Not very appetizing.

For me, I think breast-feeding is something that should be kept personal between the mother and child (Daddy's okay, too!) and should be done discreatly (spell check?) in public.

My duaghter is 6, and is the only girl to 3 brothers (at the time). My husband and I decided 2 years ago to try and have another girl because our daughter wanted a sister and we wanted another girl as well. I got pregnant about 14 months ago and we have since had a baby boy. My daughter is upset and wants us to try one more time.
I ended up having an emergency c-section because the doctor accidentally broke my water (trying to check the position of the baby). The babies hand came out along with his cord. The cord was wedged between his head and birth canal. After the c-section, my incision didn't heal completely and it ended up infected. They had to cut part of it open and drain it, and I spent the next 7 weeks putting gauze in the hole until it healed.
It scared the hell out of me. (I have never had a c-section before), and it was a bad outcome for me. (The baby is fine and getting big).
How do I explain to her that my body can't handle carrying babies anymore?

I grew up in a very abusive household and was recently apalled by the news of a family whos parents beat there kids with belts and such for things like talking back or not changing the TV channel.

Why do american households suffer from this black plague?
Is it because they work to much overtime and get paid way to little at the local tire-plant that causes there social class to degrade to the point of being boozed up daily only to come home and beat there kis silly in a depressed rage induced from beer and cheap drugs that these meth heads need to grind out life?
