You can have an amniocentesis, but you would either have to have her permission or a court order, and it can have side effects, so you might want to wait, hope you get the results you are looking for.

No you cannot find out before the baby is born, but right after the baby is born, you can have a dna test run. You can also request one through the court system. She cannot put your name down on the baby's birth certificate without your permission. Don't give it. Cite that she stated you might not be to her friends. She cannot have you pay child support and you could have your attorney call the friends as witnesses since she confessed to them. If she refuses a DNA test, then don't support her or the baby through the rest of the pregnancy. You are not running out on your responsibilites. Watch some Maury Povich - some of the women have been back 8 or 9 times with different guys looking for the father of their baby. She most probably chose you to be the one to tell because you would support her and the baby. Good Luck.

You will need to wait until the child is born. Until then, treat this young lady as if she were carrying your child.. give her love, respect, and all the kindness you would, if you knew for certain this child was yours. Why? Say you do not believe this baby is yours, and you treat her badly, only to find out.. the baby is yours. You will find that you have destroyed something in your heart, and the relationship you and she had.
I wish people realized that sometimes..
1 + 1 does equal 3.. or more.

Yes, but it's expensive. The go in and take blood from the baby and they can do the DNA test from that. I would just wait. The womans probably going to ask for child support and Judge will order a DNA test if you say that you don't think it's your.
But, if it is yours then you need to STEP UP and do the right thing. We have to many baby's out there with no father figure in their lifes. This goes for any one out there, "Take care of your Babies"

You can have a DNA test. I believe they can use amniotic fluid to determine. Please don't make an *** of yourself on Maury Povich. If you wait until it's born, social services will pay for the test if the mother tries to get you into child support. Otherwise, outright the test costs $1,000.
Condoms are looking really good to you right about now aren't they. Don't wait to exhale, do it now, it could have been AIDS. Nowadays, you just cannot have unprotected sex with people. With the down-low, AIDS and unwanted pregnancies the blame game stops at you - please wear a condom. Go to the health dept. where they are free, try out a couple of different brands, styles until you find your comfort zone and keep yourself shielded.

there is a paternity test that can be done before the baby is born, however, there are risks involved and it is VERY costly.
my friend had it done and she doesn't regret it, b/c the situation had to get rectified ASAP, but if you can wait, it would be cheaper and probably safer for mom and baby.
have mom ask her OB about it.
take care.

The safest way would be to wait. When the baby is born, you'll know.
I'd be furious if I were you. Did you confront her about it?
You should treat him as if he is your son, especially if she isn't into this other guy. That way, no regrets.
