Usually the bottom 2 come in first, followed by the top 2. Then the 2 on either side on the bottom 2 and top 2 come in. Then the molars start coming in. There will be a gap where the incisors come in for awhile.
Teething is really hereditary, so if you got teeth early, your baby probably will too. My daughter got her first 2 teeth at 6 months, and my friends daughter started at 10 months. A baby can get one tooth at a time, or get several at a time.

my daughter has just turned 1 and she already has started getting a lot of her back teeth through but i know it is different with every child. My son who is 3 n half didnt get his through for ages(cant remember the exact age)

teething is different for all babies.. my daughter cut her first teeth at 3 months, where my son didn't get the first one until 7 months.. not to worry.. teeth come in when they do. And all babies are different

Both my sons got their first two teeth (top two) when they were 3 months old. Next month came the down two. And after that there was a tooth per month. And I breastfed them... ouch.
