I have a 3 month old and he is still on the number 2 teats for one month olds plus. I am not sure whether to move to the 3 month old teats just yet as he seems to drink pretty quickly as it is. Did you find a big difference between the number 2 and number 3 teats? When did you move your baby on to number 3 teats?

I am pregnant now, this would be my first child. I want to know for who have the vaginal delivery baby. After your first baby born, can you enjoy your sex life with your partner or your husband? Would that be different before your first baby born and after? If you would enjoyed it after how many months?
I just curious. I plan and hoping to deliver my baby not with
c-section delivery. Thanks.

My son is 2 1/2 wks old and has really dry skin. His arm and legs are also starting to peel. I use Johnsons baby lotion. And put it on him after he takes a bath and sometimes after I change his diapers.

Is this normal?

Is there any specific type of lotion I could use?

And is this something I should worry about?

I'm breastfeeding and was wondering what can I eat if I avoid all the gassy foods such as, beans, bran, broccoli, brusse sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, caffeine, dairy and onions??? I look in my fridge and I'm lost. What can I eat to prevent my newborn from becoming gassy?

My daughter had a few bouts of what doctors called "colic" when she was about 6 weeks old. My in laws seemed to believe that this was all due to a condition that their culture (hispanic) calls "OJO"
Apparently a baby (or adult for that matter) gets this when someone looks at her admirably and does not touch her. (?) They then give her this evil eye that causes her severe pain that makes her scream bloody murder. Then my mother-in-law comes over with an EGG and rubs it all over my daughter and cracks it into a glass of water. Somehow, by cracking that egg in the glass she is able to determine if she has ojo or not, which she strangely does everytime that egg gets cracked.
No offense, but this all sounds like a bunch of mumbo jumbo to me. Does anyone think differently or know of any scientifc reasons as to why this would be true at all?
We get into about this a lot. She doesn't do it to her anymore, but I'm still curious.

I always slept on my sides, but lately i can't because i'll wake up in the middle of the night with a pain that feels like something is pulling on the inner-side of my belly-button. So i have to lay on my back again and wait for this somewhat painful sensation to stop. Is it the baby moving around? Is this normal? It feels like the baby i suppose, it makes my sleeping a little sparse...Not even a pillow under my tummy helps. It still wakes me up every night..

My little girl is 10 months old and has been this far sleeping between baby wieghts. She has been a little slow on developing mobility skills but of late has shown signs of really wanting to move around ( Yah for her ). A couple of time I have put her in her crib without her baby wieghts and has got her legs cought between the bars (ouch)
I have a bumper pad but have heard horror stories of babies smothering themselves in them. Falling asleep with there faces to close and not realizing they are not breathing until it is to late. So my question is , is my baby old enough for bumper pads? and if not does anyone have any suggestions on how to keep my baby safe in her crib? Thank you for any advice....

There are so many ways to call it, just wondering what some of you other mommies say. We say Nummy or Nummies. As in " Mamma's baby have some Nummies"? Or "It's Nummy Time Baby Boy!"

Okay, it's been awhile since my last baby! My son is 5 months old and still wakes up a lot at night! The only way he sleeps is on his tummy. My husband said that since he can hold his head up and prop himself up on his arms that he's okay to sleep on his tummy now. I am just your average worried mommy and I see that babies need to be put to sleep on their back, but nobody seems to say for how long? Anybody know? Thanks!

We've tried 2% but it made her diapers horrible, and we tried whole milk but that makes her struggle to get anything out.

Soon to give birth. Should we have our son circumcised? Would love to hear from other parents out there and what they did?

My son is 7 months and only has 2 teeth, so I understand the chewing aspect needs to wait, but when can I start giving him what we're eating for dinner?

Any advice would be helpful.

I'm asking this because we tried starting him on baby food that contains meat (stage 2 - mixed with veggies) and he doesn't like it and I think it tastes gross too. :)
