Or just wash the outside until he is old enough to clean it himself? My doctor said to leave it. However someone 'older' has said the opposite. And I am not interested in anyones opinion on getting him circumcised thanks.

My friend and I that I work with were both pregnant at the same time. My baby is on formula ( I breast fed with the last child and it was too painful) and she is breast feeding. During the day when she is away from her baby she uses a breast pump and throws away the milk. She doesn't need it. Anyway so she offered it to me for my baby. She eats way healthier than I do and I think I should try it. Give me some feedback please.

My son is 14 weeks old and sleeps all night and day! Its crazy! He sleeps at least 7 hours straight at night then wakes up, eats, then goes back to sleep for like another 3 hours. Last night he was kinda restless and woke up at 3am. I fed him but he only ate about 1oz and fell asleep again and did'nt wake until 8am. He would'nt take his bottle until almost 9am. After he finally ate he fell back asleep until 10:30 woke and played for a while. He ate again at 11:15 and was back asleep at 11:30. Its now after 1pm and there is no sign of him waking any time soon. Is he going through a growth spurt or something? Is this normal? He will probably take at least 2 more naps before he goes to bed tonight.

When i take him somwhere new, he just looks at everything but strangers cant seem to make him smile at them. Could it just be his personality? He is develping normally elsewise. Motor skills ect...Rolling over, cooing, eating solids, great head control. The Girls at my work said they notice he never seems happy. :(

My 4.5 month old son is a breastfeeding snacker. He likes to eat every 1-3 hours during the day, between 5 and 25 min each time. I know 5 min isn't a full feeding but he uses it mostly to fall asleep. I try to wake him by rubbing/changing etc but he quickly falls back asleep. He does give me one 6-8 hour stretch at night. Is there any way to stretch out feedings a bit? He just started small amounts of rice cereal. Oh and when he gets a bottle he takes 8 oz every 2-4 hours, so he's a pig even though he is just less than 14 pounds.

Would this potentially make b-feeding easier for baby and me in the first four weeks, or would I have to get up frequently anyway for diaper changes (in which case, baby should just sleep in his/her crib)?

Does the closeness with baby while sleeping help with bonding, or will we get enough bonding throughout baby's waking hours? Should baby learn to sleep in his/her crib from the get go?

What are your opinions based on experience and what your doc's tell you?

Is it okay if I dont start solids for my baby at 6 months? Reason is he is just not interested in solids at all and turns away his face completely if I try to offer him anything. I am however letting him taste different things as I eat to get him used to different tastes. He is completely on breastmilk. Will he be nutrionally deficient because he is not on solids yet?

I just had a baby boy and he keeps leaking up the front and the back of his diapers all over his clothes everytime he pees. Just wanting to know what diapers you have found to be the best for newborn boys since their penis points up. I never had this problem with my daughter. Thank you for all of your suggestions.

My 2 mo.old baby boy seems like he is in so much pain from gas. I swear I eat no gassy foods and I even bring him to the chiropractor for relief. My husband and I get no sleep because he CONSTANTLY wants to be held and if we lay him down for a few mins. he wakes up and screams. He gets very upset from any bodily function (gas, burps, hiccups). My husband is pressuring me to start formula, but I want to continue breast feeding, but my son seems to be in pain. Should I switch to formula? Any mothers out there with any advice??HELP!

Hey, Just a few questions..
My 5 month old baby has a cold alot of snot and what not. I have a slight feeling her mouth and throat are sore. What can you do for a cold and she hasnt eaten since 1:30 this morning??
She is on solid foods right now. I have fed her sweet potatoes and she loved them. I mix it with Rice or Oatmeal Cereal. She has also eaten with the cereal peas, she did not like them, bananas, apples, pears and peaches. She like bananas, pears and the pre made cereal with apples.
