some teething toys can be refrigerated or frozen for baby to use. It helps numb the gums. Also baby Oragel or any of that type teething medicine. Gerber makes a really hard teething biscuit that tastes like a cookie, it is so hard it does not crumble so it's not a choking hazard.

The best thing that my daughter loves is her "wuffie" by munchkin. It's a little purple plush husky with a rattle in the head, the top paws are teethers and the bottom paws have crinkle paper. She'll tuck a whole bottom paw in her mouth and let it hang there while she chews it, lol. I believe they are called teething pals, the husky is an arctic friend or something like that. Make sure there are things she can chew on, rattles, plush, they need a variety to hold their interest. Nothing that can break off in chunks, like a carrot or frozen waffle, she could choke. Try giving her a chain of linksies, those plastic rings that attach all sorts of things to everything. Good luck.

I also have a 7 month old that is wanting everything
in her mouth and guess what I let her chew on everything
just keep small items and paper away from her. If she is still fussy then give her Tylenol it works great but only give it to her
when she is really fussy and crying. ALso you can massage her gums with you finger just rub rub rub and it will feel really good. I also let my daughter chew on her bottle she likes the way the nipple feels. It is harmless for her to chew on most of her toys just keep different toys in front of her.

I have a 8.5 month old with four teeth now. He has only just started to use the teething toys. I have bought a couple of teething toys & hoped that he picks one & he finally has. It is a animal with a gel body that was bought from woolies. But before he decided to use the chewing toys he just chewed on his toys, material books etc. But the biggest thing that he found comfort in was his rings that attach together. i found that helped. Oh also use bonjela, you can't go wrong with that, especially at night time. Also Rusks! Big help!

A clean cold rag that has been frozen in the freezer for a bit. This can be soothing to gums that are teething. Also she is old enough to chew on baby cookies but watch real close.

You can try a wet washcloth. Did you put the "chewing thingy" in the fridge to get cold? My son likes that! Is there anything she has she really likes to chew on that helps her discomfort? It's ok to let her chew, that's how they explore new things and they do it expecially when they are teething too! I would try something cold and/or wet. Also you can try baby orajel if your doctor says you can.

Let her chew, it’s a natural process. Babies learn through their mouth just like you learn by touching things.
But you can put the teether toy in the refrigerator and give it to her cold she might chew on it then or buy one that has a flower shape instead of a round one. My baby does not like round teethers and prefers other shapes. Wet a clean washcloth and freeze it then give it to the baby. By homeopathic gel or tablets at Whole Foods for teething babies. Put a plain bagel in the freether and give the baby to mouth on, my 6 month old loves it. Give her your finger to chew on, but wash it thoroughly first. Other than that if it’s not bothering her, but bothering you let the baby be.

Let her chew on anything and everything (as long as it is safe of course). Sometimes they prefer chewing on things that we wouldn't expect. My daughter for instance loves to chew on her soft leather crawling shoes, she's not hurting anything or herself so I don't see a problem. One trick I like is to put a wet washcloth in the freezer for 5 minutes and let her suck on it. As simple as it sounds, it really does offer some soothing relief and appeals to their desire to suck on things.

Get a baby washcloth wet and roll it up, then put it in the freezer. Feels good on baby gums, and they can't get pieces off or hurt themselves.
