He could be too warm or too cold, he could have gas, he could still be hungry, or be too full, he could have diaper rash, or maybe there's something in his clothes that's irritating his skin or poking him. He could be afraid, or sleepy, or he could just feel like crying.

This is what parenting is all about. It's up to you to figure out what the problem is... and to stay calm while doing so. The calmer you stay, the more likely he'll quiet down as soon as you've figured it out and gotten it fixed...

I've done alot of reading and research on this and I firmly
beleive that they are not finished sleeping. If a baby wakes
up with gentle sounds or babbling or just calling for you softly
then baby has gotton the perfect amount of sleep. Encourage
your baby to go back to sleep by gently rocking them back
or your soft voice. When my baby wakes up crying it is usually because she did not sleep long enough. THe other reason could be gas that suddenly wakes them up or a noisey
neighbor or barking dog or the phone.
2 hour naps are about right less than an hour is not enough.
good luck

Hi it could be a few things:

Still hungry, try giving some more food
Wind - gas in the belly - try burping the baby some more
Cuddles - baby wants cuddles or attention pick them up and hug them walk with them around the house
Or is just tired and wants to sleep again.

It must be one of the above, all the best.

My son can have a great nap and wake up crying. Sometimes it is just their way of saying that they need some time to wake up. Usually my son just wants to sit on my lap with his teddy and have a few minutes of quiet time to slowly wake up. A lot of adults are the same way in the morning, right? They need time to have a coffee and wake up before getting into a conversation with someone. Just try giving your baby a bit of time, maybe offer a bottle and see if that helps. If not, don't jump all over him/her trying to figure things out. Your baby will tell you what he/she needs it you pay close attention. Good luck!

How old is the baby? It could be trapped wind. Its not easy to have a guess without knowing the child's age. If u have a young one try putting the baby over ur shoulder and pat his back till all trapped wind is out.

Did you burp him? does he have a rash? babies usually have a reason for crying you need to find out what it may be. Check to make sure you haven't made the diaper to tight or that the baby isn't running a fever. If it continues you may need to call the pediatrician.

could be lots of things.
Since he cannot verbalize his needs, he may be letting off steam, may be in an uncomfortable position, may be bored, maybe can't yet figure out what to do in this world outside the womb, may have a tummy ache or colic, or an ear ache. All babies do this so know that it is normal.

It sounds like he's bored. Play 'peek a boo' with him, or just sing silly songs to him. Interaction is what he's after.
