I have a exclusively breastfed 8 month old. I would like to start him on formula so i could wean him once he's used to the formula but my baby wouldn't even take a bottle or a cup….i guess it’s the taste of the formula..someone suggested mixing some flavour so i was wondering if anyone has ever done this and if it is safe to do so. Thanks!

I have a Graco Travel System we tried to fit the carseat in today. It comes with the base that stays in the car but says it is optional to use. When using the base its pretty wobbly. I just want to be sure, is just buckling the carrier itself okay for a newborn? Or is it better to be on the base? Does the fire dpt help parents fit them in right?

i dont know what to get my daughter shes 6 months.
what toys did your babys have around 6-8 months?
what did they like to do?
what specific toys did they like the most?
what did they like more a walker or those things you hand on the door border and they bounce?

Hi, my name is Kelsi and I am 14. My mom just had a baby, about a week ago and his name is Bradley Nathaniel Roberts. I have 3 other siblings, they're little ( and so cute!) Pixie ( who's 7), Braden ( who's 5) and Emma ( she's 3). They're having a really hard time with this. My mom is so happy with us and she loves us all so, so much. and she always spends time with us and feeds us and stuff. But now, she can't give us QUITE so much attention since Bradley came. I'm ok with that I just am doing everything I Can to help make it easier for my mom & dad. but Pixie, Braden and Emma are just so upset that mom can't spend as much time with us as she'd like. She still spends a lot of time with us and stuff but I don't know how to help them. What can I do?

I've heard not to buy a baby any shoes when they're less than 1 year old. So what is your advice for a new mommy on shoes and sandals?

We just moved to the US with our 7 months old daughter. From nutritional guidelines in Germany we are advised to not only feed rice cereal but also millet and spelt. I prefer the wholegrain/organic variety.
As it turns out, I haven't been able to find these anywhere, all I could find was rice cereal and oatmeal, wheat and barley. All varieties that I would use later or not at all (wheat, bec it is supposed to be allergenic).
Do you have any suggestions for me or is that just how you do it?

I need to stop breast feeding my 6 month old soon as I am due to return to work in 2 months. Should I begin slowly now or just stop altogether a few weeks before. He is on 2 solid meals a day and has a bottle before bed. The rest of the day I still breast feed. Any advise or tips please

My son has quite a bit of hair now and the cradle cap isn't coming off now. We've tried baby brushes and oil, but because he has so much hair, it seems to be extra difficult to get it off. Help!

Ive been doing the controlled crying at night which has worked a treat (onlt waking once if at all) but im having HUGE problems in the day time, he usually has 2 naps a day at the same times as this is when he is getting tired but when im putting him down he is crying for over an hour and sleeping for half hour, it seems pointless going through all that stress for half an hour sleep, can anyone offer any help? should I still put him down and hope that he will get used to it? HELP!

I am due in three weeks with our first child and would like to know what accessory that parents cannot live without. My husband and I want to keep the baby with us, say in the living room ,during the evening before bed or whenever we are at home when the baby is not sleeping. What do you suggest for the baby, a swing, bouncer or something else to keep him entertained and give our arm a break when he is not feeding or cuddling? And what is appropriate for a newborn to 3 months and what will he not grow out of too soon?

Hello I was wondering if anyone had these coupons they are not going to use. I have 2 girls on different types of formula. We are having a very hard time right now, some will ask me to sign up for wic, we tried, but my husband has a great job on paper-- but due to an ex wife and children with her, we are very much having a hard time making it. Between child support, all medical bills, daycare AND her 600.00 a month car payment we just barly have enough to make it ourselves. SO I thought there maybe someone out there who might just have these sitting around. I would appreicate them very much and put them to excellent use for my daughters. Thanks so much!

Hello there, I remember reading somewhere that you should hold off household improvements such as new hardwood floors when you have a young baby. Right now I am living with my in laws and they are thinking of getting hardwood floors. I need to know is this dangerous to my 4 month old son? I’m not sure what is involved in the process of installing hardwood floors or what chemicals are used. Does anyone have any information on this or any articles/WebPages I could read? If I had proof that it was dangerous to my son’s health maybe I could convince them to hold off.
