It really depends on the woman.
It hurt alot at first. And for several months afterward. To this day i am tighter than i used to be.
Sex is still good... but after caring for a baby all day (or chasing around a toddler!) and nursing all the time... you get a little touched out. So, basically, my drive is no where near what it was before... but when we do it, its probably better than it used to be.
Its just about finding time and energy.

You know you can still have sex even if your pregnat sence your period stops and if you just had a baby then the doctor would definetly tell you when your able to get busy again.you might be soar for about a week your breats will ache but after your first delivery your vaginal area would be more used to the processit could even go faster so hope this advice helps!

I had a 4th degree tear, which means you tear all the way to & through the rectum. The first few times I thought sex was horrible and didn't care if I ever had sex again. But its week 5 of being able to have sex since giving birth and its gotten much, much better. I also breastfeed which can reak havoc on dryness and general sexual mood. But I seem to be over coming all that as well.
As far as if it feels any different? No, not to me. I still don't have quite the muscle tone as I did before...but its gradually coming back.

I had a c-section.... I would try as hard as you can not to have to have one. I had my son 4 months ago. I still feel very unattractive. I gained alot of weight while pregnant and have only lost about half. I just can't enjoy sex when im so depressed. I can't imagine that my husband finds me attractive. I hope its better for you. I think if I did'nt have this huge scar maybe it would help some.

Well I just had my son last July and I`m due with a girl in August!!! So does that tell you how things are for us?? LOL..It is different for every couple though...It did not hurt or feel uncomfortable for me...but for some people it does. Just take it slow and easy at first and you`ll be okay. Although the first couple of months you maybe to tired!! Good Luck and Congrats on your baby!!

I for some reason thought of sex as a chore after deleivering. I barely got the sensation back and my son is 18months. But I think mine was hormonely. So good luck.

i dont think it has anything to do with actually having the child vaginally, i think its more of the case of being a parent, mine and my husband sex life was perfect when we first got together, i had a previous child before we got together, now that we had a baby together, it has decresed a lot. more my part then his.
