How many moms had a baby who ran a fever from teething? If so, how high was it and how many days did it last? Thanks for any input!

we use Enfamil Gentlease, and i make 32 oz at a time in a picther.. for the last couple of days i noticed it settling, it will have about a 1/2 an inch white coating on top of yellowish fomrula, it's not foam and formula is not expired.. what the heck?

and also, if anyone has ever used gentlease, and switched what did you switch to? i'm not sure my baby's tolerating it very well, but he's not allergic. Do newborns digest soy better? i think he may have some digestive problems. We'll see pediatrician on the 30th, i want answers from experienced mommys!

What percentage of mom's breastfeed? Formula feed?
not including the 70 % who attempt to breastfeed @ birth but how many are actually successful up to atleast 2 months because most mom's I know are formula feeding by then after breastfeeding while they were on maternity leave.
This is not a debate over which is better.

This is kind of a weird question. My doctor told me to only give my daughter 4 bottles a day and no juice (because she doesn't need juice). I am suppose to give her water in her sippy cup but the problem is that she won't drink just water. So is there any ideas of anything else i can give her.

I am not suppose to give her juice because the doctor says that juice is empty calories.

Thank you

My friend's husband has an evil cat that keeps scratching their baby. It's unprovoked, perhaps jealous. My friend is very upset about it. Her husband won't get rid of it because he's had it for such long time. What should she do? Or better yet, how can we get rid of the cat and make it look like an accident?

I am 28 weeks preg and until now I have been on the bottle-feed with formula bandwagon. I am not so hot about breast feeding but am not opposed to expressing milk though (mainly because I want him to have breast milk, it will allow father/baby bonding, and it's cheaper). Has anyone just expressed milk? Can I just express milk (not use formula) even though I will be going back to work? I haven't the slightest clue as to what to do!

I am breastfeeding my 3 week old baby. I express one feed a day so that his dad can do the early morning feed.
Problem is that my baby just doesn't seem to be enjoying the bottle much. He drinks the milk, but afterwards seems a bit unsettled and doesn't sleep very well unless I give him a little feed - which totally defies the point!
He is continuing to happily breastfeed, so he doesn't have nipple confusion.
His dad gives him warm milk, in a room away from me.

Has anyone else experienced this? Will my baby get used to the bottle?

My daughter is soon to outgrow her first carseat. There are so many out there on the market, I don't even know where to begin! Can anyone recommend a good (not expensive) carseat for my growing girl?

My best friend is having her baby tomorrow, and I want to give her something special. I am sure she will be getting plenty of flowers and little stuffed animals for the baby, etc.

I am going to get something for the baby too, of course, but I was thinking about getting her a pair of blue topaz earrings -- each one will symbolize one of her boys (now that she is a mom of 2! :))

Is that a cool idea? Was there any special or unique gift you ever gave a friend who had a baby?

Thanks!
