I have looked at Wal-mart, Target, Babies-r-Us, Gymboree, Children's Place, JCPenny, no one seems to have what I am looking for, but I'm not really sure what that is. Any suggestions?

I've just been using baby wipes to clean up during dipper changes but have seen some people use baby wipes to clean babies faces. Is that cool to do or bad for the baby?

I have started a bedtime routine wiv my new baby girl. Bath at 8pm then a good feed then lay her down in her mose's basket to sleep. This has been going great and she has been sleeping soundly until 5/6am. She wakes for feeds but has been going straight back to sleep until a few nights ago when she first woke at 4am!!! Bright as a button and didnt settle back to sleep again until 7am! Then last night she woke routinely at 2am for a feed but wouldnt settle back to sleep again at all! She would sleep for an hour on and off throughtout today. She has now gone to bed and again is sleeping soundly but im wondering why she feels that 2am/5am is waking time? Am i puttin her to bed too early?? PS: i have been keeping her awake since 6pm every night before bed at 9pm (THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY) any suggestions??

my son is a month old, he has been breastfeed from day one, but now that he's getting a bit older, I want to start pumping. so I went out and bought a manual pump, Today I've only been able to pump a ounce on each breast, the most has been 2 1/2 ounces. other than drinking water, what else can I do to get more milk??

If I use a comb then when it dries it ends up looking like it does when he just woke up. In other words like I never comb my child's hair. If I use a brush and brush it down then he rubs his head and pulls on it and it sticks straight out. Like he stuck his finger in a light socket! =) If I brush/comb it forward it lies flat on his head and flips up in the front. Anyone have any suggestions if you have had kids with hair like this? I just don't know what to do because I have straight hair and don't know how to fix curly hair.

Our baby is 3wks old tomorrow. We would like to order our announcements and get them out to people but would like to wait until we can get a few more pictures. What is an acceptable amount and traditional amount of time to wait before sending birth announcements out?

I am very paranoid about SIDS. But both my twins have acid reflux and are very uncomfortable on their back. I have put pillows under their mattresses, and used the wedges and positioners. As soon as I lay them on their belly they are content and sleep soundlessly. Any other way they are restless. I'm not asking anyone to ok it, but how dangerous is it to let them sleep like this?

I stopped breastfeeding over two months ago and i still produce milk. With my first child it took almost a year for me to fully dry up and my doctor told me that only a small percentage of women have that problem. Is there anything that i can do to speed this process up? I don't think they prescribe anything for it anymore but I really don't want to leak for a year like last time.

Hi. My wife had our first baby 2 weeks ago. She had a rough time due to mastitis, and is feeling quite low, tired, anxious, and concerned that she does not have feelings of love for the new baby. She has said how she is feeling, and is getting help from her mid-wife and her health-worker, and I do realise that it is early days yet. Does anyone have experience of these "baby blues"/depressions, and what we might expect going forward?

They are known as ''freebirthers". They confidently catch their offspring as the child leave the womb. They say, ''birthing uses the same hormones as lovemaking - so why would you want anyone poking n prodding u, observing u and putting u under a spotlight?''. This women insist having a baby is as intimate an experience as having sex.
Dis women delivers their own child alone- without the help of doctors or midwives. They say," its a natural process. It didnt make sense to me that something that ensures the continuiation of the race would be a dangerous and scary event. We r giving birth for thousand of years and we're still in this world. If it was that dangerous we wouldn't be here".
All this things seem so natural, but doctors protest it.
As we all noe the complications involve in delivery.
Is it so natural then why we are neglecting it??
There is a whole community which follows ''freebirths'', many women around the world is a mother of ''freebirth'' child.
What you think??

Ok I took my daughter to her 9 month well baby check up. She weighed 26 1/2 lbs and was 29 in. At first my doctor said that she was the right weight for her height but than in the next breath it seemed like she said that she was slightly over weight but than before we left she said she wasn't concerned because she will be going through a growth spurt soon and start being more mobile and that the weight will come off. So what gives, is my baby fat or should I know worry about it? Thank you for any insight on this. (My daughter has always been in the 95th percentile for height and weight since she was 2wks old, my husband is 6'5 280lbs and I am 5'5 225lbs)
