I have looked at Wal-mart, Target, Babies-r-Us, Gymboree, Children's Place, JCPenny, no one seems to have what I am looking for, but I'm not really sure what that is. Any suggestions?

Carters

They have cute sets for preemies, which even if you child isn't they normally fit better the first few weeks than 0-3 month cloths.

You must be being too picky. I am sure one of the stores you listed has something cute a new baby could wear to go home. The outfit doesn't have to be anything amazing. Just something cute and fit for the right season.

Try Baby Gap. They have nice things there.

Kind of depends on how much you willing to spend, too. I got my son's going home outfits at Babies R Us, they only wore them like once or twice!

Well who's going to see the baby? are ya'll going straight home? With my daughter she came home in a pretty sleeper I had picked out, with my son he was a preemie and when he was finally able to come home I dressed him in slacks and a sweater vest. This baby will wear a similar outfit. I bought everything at Walmart. If ya'll are going straight home I recommmend a sleeper or onesie so you can just transfer him to his crib.

Depending on where you live, Ross, Kohls, Marshalls - all of these places have cute stuff usually discounted.

If you can't find it at any of those stores, then nothing is going to satisfy you. Just find something you like. It's not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. It's not like you're picking out your kid's wedding dress.
