Our baby is 3wks old tomorrow. We would like to order our announcements and get them out to people but would like to wait until we can get a few more pictures. What is an acceptable amount and traditional amount of time to wait before sending birth announcements out?

Any time in the first 2 months is acceptable.
People already KNOW you've had a baby (I'm sure) so the announcement is just really about the picture.
It's fine to wait another week or two to get a good one :-)
(With my baby, though, I sent them out the first week because he was stuck in NICU and no one could see him. I assume people have seen your baby)

Do it ASAP, send one of the first pictures of the baby on the announcement. You will have more opportunities to send pictures to family and friends, but hurry up as I'm sure people are dying to see him.

You should have sent them out already. They are birth announcements, not see our two month old announcements. Send them and then send pictures later.

stable and somewhat low-cost are oxymorons. My suggestion is to touch your community printing shops and ask them. you would be shocked what you may get performed. additionally, evaluate dealing with Walgreens (can do it on line, print for mailing or community pickup). Have a image and the delivery assertion is a ingredient of the image. Our neighbor's daughter did that and the outcomes have been magnificent!!
