Right now I am feeding her twice (full jars). It was suggested by a friend that I should feed her baby cereal in the morning and 1 jar at lunch and 1 jar at dinner with her bottles. This sounds like a lot of food for her! I give her her baby food about a half an hour after her bottles. Also, my daughter does not like to eat the fruit, but she loves the veggies....should I be worried? I also discovered that Beechnut baby food has stage 1 meats such as ham, veal, and beef in broth. Has anyone given this to their baby? Thanks for your advice!

I just need a average, its for my child development class and I'm trying to multi-task right now. An average or range is fine!
Thanks!

Okay my son is two months old and got three shots yesterday. He is now running a fever of 101.0. According to the papers they gave me, this is normal. My question is, did any of your babies run fevers with their immunizations and for how long?

Why do we sing "Rock a bye baby" to lull our little ones to sleep when the song is about putting your baby in a tree and letting the wind crash the cradle to the ground?

I am still breastfeeding my 8 month old with a goal to wean completely by 12 months. She is eating twice a day and ever since I cut the third feeding out, she only eats for less than 5 minutes per time. I don't want to go back to three times a day, as that is working backwards. I already feed her in a quiet room, just the two of us, no distractions. Anything else I can do?

My daughter is 6 months old and I have a problem trying to get her diaper on. She started this a few weeks ago. She squirms and squirms and starts to whine when I try to put a diaper on her. It takes like 5 minutes to get one on her. Any suggestions on what I can do? I already have everything ready to go when I try.

I usually get tired while breastfeeding and fall asleep so I sometimes do it sitting in front of the computer to stay awake. Is it safe doing so?

In my town, I don't know a whole lot of people since I've only lived here for 2 years. I have plenty of casual acquaintances. I plan to offer this to 1 young lady, to whom a friend referred me, but I want to help ease the burden on a single parent/ single mom (or 2) by offering to keep a baby (or 2) at no charge. I have a baby, too & it'd be nice if she had a playmate. I love babies & have years of experience/ credentials working with them. What would make you say "yes" to an offer like this from someone you didn't know that well?

I'm going to ask friends, my church, & at the coffee shop we frequent. Please don't judge, but tell me what you think. My motivation is because I understand their struggle & now I am able to give back.

Peace

He will cry until I pick him back up. He doesn't want his daddy either, only mommy. This has been going on for about a week now. I assume this is normal, but how do I deal with this and help him work through it. How long does this phase last.
