I would say my favorite thing that we do during the day is rough house-we play on the bed and wrestle and just laugh non stop. The other parts of the day im runnin after him ( hes 10 months ). It all depends on what age they are. When he was a lil one, i loved laying with him and breastfeeding. When he was around 4 months i loved just showing him faces and colors and sounds. Around 6 months i started reading to him at night-probably my fav thing. NOW hes a lil terror so why not get down to his level and rough house, they love it!

Long walks! My kids (3 years and 18 months) like to ride in a side-by-side jogging stroller. Until recently, I would put the little one in the sling and push the bigger child in the single stroller. That way I got even more exercise! It's good to get out and meet other SAHMs. Now that the weather is nice, we're meeting a lot of people on our walks!

How old is your baby? Things change so much over the first year & what might be your favorite thing at one time can change quickly :)
But yeah, getting them to sleep is pretty good LOL

Getting out! Fresh air is so good for babies. Spring time is perfect for outside play. So much to see. The colors, movement and sound of the outdoors is so different from indoor stimulation. They sleep better at night when the day is full of outdoor time!

My son is 6 months old... I like to lay on the floor or bed and play with him. I've got a bag of about 20 different soft toys, and I'll show him the toys, tell him in a funny voice what kind of animal it is, what color, if it's furry, fluffy, scratchy, full of cotton, or beans... I'll show him its eyes, mouth, hands, belly... I also read books to him, tickle him, make all sorts of random noises, sing to him help him sit up, show him how to crawl, hold him in the air above me and make him giggle...
I guess my favorite thing to do is make him laugh.

When I was able to stay home with my son I played music and we danced around the room, sang, painted, went to the park, and for walks. I still do these things with him, even though I work though, just not as much as I would like to (He's sleeping right now)

Well my son is not a baby anymore he is 2 now, but when he was little I used to love feeding him. He would just stare into my eyes the whole time. It let me know he loved me and needed me even though he could not say it.

I love taking my son out to the park. He gets to see trees, birds, grass. There are a lot of things to stimulate his senses out there. The fresh air also does a good job of getting him ready for a nice, long nap!

I love snuggling my son. Also, our daily walks are fantastic. He just looks around at the animals we see (lots of cows), different birds and the trees, flowers and grass. I also tell him the colors of the different cars that pass us and tell him the names of the wildlife (cardinal, oriole, yarrow, white oak tree..)
He seems interested in tractors and motorcycles right now and I love how his face lights up when one drives by.
