After consulting my computer expert (my lovely hubby who does computer stuffs for a living) I've found this answer for you: Years ago with the old glass tube monitors, there may have been a chance of a little exposure, but with the new LCD display monitors, there is absolutely no risk.

It depends on what monitor you have, LCD monitors do not give off any radiation, but even the small amount of radiation from an older model of a monitor shouldn't be harmful, I would say do some research on your monitor and the radiation that comes out of it and if it is dangerous or harmful. Same goes with TVs.

somewhat relatively, for the 1st couple of weeks, you and the toddler could be at living house resting and recovering, without somewhat some human beings there. in case you sense uncomfortable with human beings there, purely say so! tell them that jointly as you savour their venture and correctly desires, which you're no longer as much as having travellers purely yet, yet which you will be feeling better in a pair of weeks. No different clarification could be necessary. relax certain that breastfeeding does get extra convenient after the 1st couple of weeks. one venture which you're able to do is to coach in front of a reflect, as quickly as you get the fundamentals down, i comprehend in the previous each and every thing purely getting the toddler latched precise could be a venture. once you get snug with the fundamentals, initiate your prepare in front of the reflect. you would be shocked via how little exhibits while the toddler is on the breast. Have your boyfriend initiate analyzing up on breastfeeding and issues that he can do this can assist you you. tell him relatively the way you sense, which will help lots. first and top-rated, savor your toddler. those days flow via swifter than you think of.

I would presume that it's OK as i do the same i know plenty of other mum's do the same on parent forums i chat on - I can't see the harm in doing so truthfully ..... If we all worried about radiation what would we really have in our houses and would we leave our homes .....

Yes, its fine. You have to sit lopsided to be able to type and nurse and if it were that much radiation, you would be blind by now. There is little radiation from our appliances now, there was a time but things have changed.

I am sure it is ok...like sitting in front of the tv... I probably would not let my baby stare at the screen especially if the rest of the room is dark, but other than that i am sure it is ok
