I had a baby six months ago and just now finally found the time to start working off the extra weight around my belly... Any moms have suggestions, ideas, tips, things that have worked for them? Let me know.

Don't worry about it. Walk with your baby whenever you can, also try yoga. I did prenatal yoga and gained 40 lbs while pregnant, and now I do yoga 3-5 times a week and walk 6 day a week. You'll lose it, just stay motivated!! Good luck!

The pouch will shrink as time goes by. Did you give birth naturally or by c-section cause there is a really big difference in swelling obviously. I had the same problem amd my ob told me the only way is by doing cardio. You can do muscle training as well just not your abdominals because that will only build up the muscle and make you appear larger until you burn that fat that lies on top of your abdominal muscles. So cardio cardio cardio!!! Hard work but if totally pays off. It worked for me! Good Luck!

How much "pooch" do you have to lose. The next time you see an infomercial for workout DVD's (Slim in 6, The 90-day workout program), study it thoroughly and order it. If you see the results, you'll understand it can work wonders.

Running and stay motivated and know that it took 9 months to gain the weight and it will take about the same time to lose. Just stay focused get an exercise ball, jump rope and run
