You are a first time mommy, it is okay to wonder if your doctor has all the answers. You will discover what is best for your baby as you go! Babies will let you know when they are not getting enough. Mine cried at the end of each feeding if and when she did not get enough. If he is content when eating 3 ounces and is gaining weight, keep doing what you are doing. It will get easier; you will get into a better routine (maybe) and things will be less up in the air. I would suggest finding a book or going on a web site to help you with some of your fears and confusions.

Perfectly normal. Your baby is only human after all. Sometimes I don't need alot of food to fill me up and other days, they don't sell enough food in the store!:) As long as he is gaining weight and not losing, he is fine. Don't doubt your parenting skills, you are doing fine. Every baby is different. I have 2 and they are like night and day! You are doing fine and so isn't your little one. Feed him how ever much he wants, but just some advice that worked for me: Only make a little bit and then if he wants more make more. I wasted alot of formula and it is very expensive! Enjoy your bundle of joy! Try not to worry and have fun with him!

Yes, it's perfectly normal. Don't be nervous, babies have this incredible ability to eat exactly the amount of formula that their bodies need(unlike adults who frequently overeat). There will also be other times when he will probably eat twice as much as normal. This will be due to a growth spurt, so don't worry about this one either when it comes around. You're doing great so far!

give up the formulation feedings...it is going to basically disrupt your milk production. deliver somebody to a shop to purchase mom's Milk tea for you. Drink 2 cups daily and shop your infant on your breast as commonly as she needs. The solidarity pump is great. You shouldnt particularly choose a pump right this moment. No formulation is optimal

You probably eat different amounts at each meal. This is as normal as it gets. Your doctor has no reason to mislead you.

Trust the doctor. If you don't trust him then get a new one. Doctors ussually are pretty good at taking care of babies.

Is your baby healthy? If yes, don't worry about it (or other trivial things like this for that matter).
