I just need a average, its for my child development class and I'm trying to multi-task right now. An average or range is fine!
Thanks!

There really is no "average" since it depends upon where you live, and the costs incurred by each doctor. I suggest you call around in your area.

I work for a pediatricians office in Collinsville, Illinois, and the cost of an office visit is $50 for the first time, and $40 after that unless the child needs shots, then of course it would be more. I would call around to get prices, because they vary a lot.

It varies state to state, call up a pediatric office and ask and tell them what it is for. I know that without my insurance I would pay between 170-200 dollars depending on the appointment and how much time is needed. Then for shots the price goes up.

It depends on whether or not the child is getting any immunizations. If the child is getting immunizations and a check up it would cost about $400-$500. (I know because we had to pay out of pocket for one of my son's appointments a couple years ago.) Without immunizations it would probably be about $100-$150 depending on where you live and who your doctor is and whether you are a new patient.
