30-60 mins a day or so... 5-10mins at a time depending on how long your baby can handle the tummy time. A lot of babies don't like it. And don't do tummy time right after they eat it could cause them to throw up. Always have a burp cloth underneath them. Good Luck!

A baby should have as much tummy time as they feel comfortable having. If the baby is four months old for instance, they should definitely start having some if they have not had it already, and it should last as long as the baby wants it to. Paying attention to the baby's cues will help you know how long that is. Babies need to be able to teach themselves how to crawl, look around, feel things, explore, but when they become uncomfortable on their bellies, if they can't turn over on their own yet, they'll let you know. ;) Good luck!

I use to lay on the floor or bed a few times a day with my kids and let them play on their tummys. It helped them develop muscle that they wouldn't use by just lying on their backs. But make sure you are right there watching them at all times.

In the beginning it should only be for about 10 minutes, and not when baby's hungry or has just eaten. Did you know no tummy time can cause underdeveloped motor skills and poor posture! Very clear in my husbands case, mom in law had him very young and did not know any better. He didnt even crawl, only bum-shuffle

I am a guy and with my son this was determined by myself. When I would nap in my recliner he lay on my tummy and nap too. It was about the only time he nap through the day, about 30-60 minutes each nap. It was a guy thing.

At least a few minutes a day. My six month old sometimes like to lay on his tummy, other times it makes him MAD or he spits up. Just shoot for a few minutes a day and remember they can lay on you on their tummy too.

Enough so that they can turn their heads Exorcist style.
Give them time every day, lay them on you or your man's chest for a while and let them try to look around. There is no set rule for time, do it when you think of it.
