Does having a baby really mess up your relationship....me and my boyfriend are having our first baby I was pregnant one before but I miscarried, my boyfriend is the type of guy that thinks cleaning is a girls job I serve him like he's a king I love to spoil him because I love him so much but it surprised me so much because when I was pregnant before he was there for me if I got up to get something he would be right there saying baby i'll get it ok...we do love eachother so much we both share everything together we are having a baby now and his parents keep saying we are ruining our lives she thinks I should wait until i'm 25 to have a baby and i'm 19 now i've been with my boyfriend since I was 12 years old and the love between us is still there and always will be.....but in your opinion will having this baby really break us apart like his mom says? And also what is honestly the hardest part about raising a baby his mom makes it sound like its the hardest thing in the world...

I think my 11 week old is teething,I can't see or feel anything but he is fussy, drooling everywhere, constantly is sticking his hands in his mouth and has a slight fever. (nothing major never above 100F) I bought some Anbasol and it says 4 months and older on the package. Is it still ok to give him some.

My son is almost 4 months old. Last month I had the ovulation discharge and then sometime later got cramps but no period and now this month about a week ago got the ovulation discharge again. There is no chance I can be pregnant, right or will my peroid come. This is my 4th child, I nursed my 3rd one but got my peroid 2 month after I had him and got pregnant when he was 5 months while nursing. I don't want another one right now so we are using the pull out method. Please give me any adice, thank you!

I am breastfeeding with my second child (7 weeks old) and he is thriving, growing, gaining weight etc., but I have started pumping because I am returning to work and have noticed I get a little more than 4 oz from one breast, but only a little over 2 from the other. I don't have any clogged ducts, nothing is painful, we switch sides to start when nursing... everything seems as it should be, but this is weird. I nursed and pumped with my daughter who is two for more than a year and always had pretty much the same from both sides. I've noticed in the mirror I'm starting to look a little lopsided also. Any ideas why this may be happening or how to increase the one side to "match" the other?

my baby has not had a wet diaper in the last 4 hours. what can i do?? he does not take oral rehydration solution. threatens to throw up....i dont want him to lose more fluids...should i take him to the emergency? please help!!! it is night here right now

I know that the convertible car seats go up to 40 lbs for a child, so I guess what I am asking is... How old are children when they hit about 40 lbs? I want to know if it is worth buying a more expensive car seat that looks alot more comfortable if they will be in it longer than a year.

Its the hardest part of motherhood till now but I'm not able to breastfeed my 10 days old son on the breast. He is not latching on. Whenever I take him for nursing ... he simply starts screaming and eventually we have to offer him bottle ( cup is not working too. Since he wants that 'sucking' thing and keeps crying all day ) I'm expressing milk as much I can but I know that this is extremely tiresome for me and I have to use at least some formula through the day.
What should I do ???
I've talked to lactation consultants. My son has no physical problem at all. Its just that he's lazy and fussy. I've tried using shield, diff. positions ... nothing is working. And I can't see my son crying vigorously.
Please help.
Helpless mom.

My daughter is a week old today. I've read several books on breastfeeding, my pediatrician has seen her latch on properly. Yet every time I nurse I'm in soo much pain Ibite my lip to keep from screaming, I have large breasts and proportioned to them nipples. Football hold is easiest, I watch for "fish lips" what am I doing wrong? Does anyone else have this problem?
Suggestions appreciated
Thank You in advance for any help.

Using lanolin, tried ice packs and tea bags, nipples lightly bleeding, but I really want this to work!

Once my son turned 9 month old, he wouldn't sleep at his nap times anymore, he would change the time everyday. I would make him cry it out each time, but he would literally cry the entire nap. They say not to let them cry for over 20 min for nap times because it would be pointless. But i have to let him cry it out for bedtime because he won't fall asleep without a fight. He wont even go to sleep before 10pm! he will cry forever...I have tried switching around naps and cutting them out...but nothings working. I recently started school at night and ever since then his bedtime has been messed up. He scratches..bites..doesnt listen to one word you say! But it seems like its only an issue with me, and im the most stern with him! Everyone says because im mommy and hes with me 24/7. You cannot satisfy this baby...theres no scheduling him anymore, i hope this is

So I've used both Huggies and Pampers on my daughter. I've tried hundreds of diapers from both brands in sizes 1, 2, and 3 (i.e., birth - 20 pounds).

Huggies leaks WAY more often than Pampers. The amount of poop I've had to clean from things because of a Huggies diaper really has made my kid a Pampers-only kid from now on.

What do you think?

My baby boy is 20 monthsl old. He walked at 11 months, eats well and sleeps well and always smiles. He loves to go to the park and swing. As far back as October, he had a 10-12 word vocabulary. Now he says no words, does not repeat anything. He has never responded to his name. I say Daniel or Danny and he does not look. No more mama or dada. He now screams uncontrollably if I try to put vacumn on & he used to laugh at it. I can not get him in the tub. He used to love tub and now screams. I have been sponge-bathing him. I asked his ped. if she thought he could be becoming autistic and she said "No". I have to take him to a hearing test on Monday. I feel he hears because there are commercials that he loves & if he hears the music to the commercial 4 rooms away, he comes running. He keeps playing with shoes & carries them around & ignoring toys. My husband says I am creating drama. I am sick with worry. Appreciate any feed-back. Thank you.

okay so heres my problem (sorry its kinda long). Im currently 37 weeks pregnant and my ex boyfriend (the babys dad) kept comming in and out of my life. he left 2 x since ive been pregnant we are no longer seeing each other , havent been for months now but he does call once a month if that Just to see how the baby and I are doing. I recently found a new guy im interested in and we've been seeing each other for about a month now, but I chose not to sleep with him for the sake of my baby and my ex. Now my ex says its disrespectful that I found a new boyfriend before the baby is even born. Need opinions both girls and guys. what do u think? What would be the difference if i found someone b4 or after the baby is born.

Ok...My son is 8 months old. He is still not sitting up...I help him by surrounding him w/his boppy, by me holding him by his hands, u name it....He gets frustrated, and starts thrashing himself backwards, wanting to lay down instead....Eveything else is normal...He plays with all his stuff, he babbles, u name it...But he still has not sat up completely on his own yet, and much less, crawled!!!! What can I do to encourage him more to accomplish this task? I know each baby develops differently, and they will tackle their own milestones when they feel ready, but don't u guys think that by now, he should be sitting up at least? Let me know! I will really appreciate ur help! Thank u sooo much!!!! =)

When you are breast feeding and your baby is willing to take expressed milk from a bottle, how long will the breast milk keep in the fridge? Is it possible to freeze the milk to make it keep longer and then warm the bottle as you normally would in a jug of hot water?

I hope this makes sense?

I am planning to breastfeed.

Thank you.

First off, toxins from foods and things can get into the breastmilk..if a woman smokes, they are exposing their baby to nicotine that gets into breastmilk.. And since they make formula that has pretty much everything breastmilk has without the risk of toxins that women put into their bodies on a daily basis, how can you tell me that breastfeeding really is best..I'm just tired of people telling me how bad I am that I strictly bottlefeed my daughter formula...
