I think my 11 week old is teething,I can't see or feel anything but he is fussy, drooling everywhere, constantly is sticking his hands in his mouth and has a slight fever. (nothing major never above 100F) I bought some Anbasol and it says 4 months and older on the package. Is it still ok to give him some.

First, Yes he can be teething, its rare but not unheard of.
My daughter started doing the same thing around 9 weeks. Looked in her mouth and her bottom gums were swollen and white at the canine area. Now I know she wasn't cutting those teeth, which is what people think of when you say teething, but that doesn't mean they weren't developing and pressing against her little gums and hurting her.

it truly is meant to look like that. that's how slightly one's penis seems once you leave the foreskin intact. It would not seperate and relax until eventually in a while in adolescents. do not attempt to stress it decrease back or some thing, it truly is effective. Any attempt to attain this will likely injure him and reason an infection. such an excellent number of persons make that mistake and finally end up questioning that he could were circumcised at the same time as the reality is in the adventure that they'd in simple terms left it on my own he does no longer get an infection. the following is a link to some practise about raising an intact son.

He very well could be teething. My son got his first tooth around 4 months, but he was drooling, sucking on his hands for at least a month before the tooth emerged. So don't expect them to appear tomorrow. As for the Anbesol, I would ask his doctor or a nurse at the doc's office. I'm guessing they'll say don't use it. Your best bet might be a wet washcloth that was thrown in the freezer for awhile. That feels good on their gums!! Oh, and he's too young for pain killers!!!! Good luck!

It's quite possible for him to be teething at this age. Some babies are even born with teeth, believe it or not. But, check into what else could be wrong. Besides the fever, all the symptoms you describe are also hunger cues. Could he be hungry? If not, he may be teething. Instead of anbesol, give him a teething ring that has been refrigerated for him to chew on.

Teething usually begins after 6 months, although many children have been know to teeth at much earlier ages. I would strongly suggest to not give him any local anesthetic especially when the instruction caution you against it. Your best bet is to consult his pediatrician for the best possible advice, since what he has might not be teething.

I wouldn't use any of that yet. The teeth have to come up threw the bones in their mouths. That will be just like the are teething. You can try to freeze a wash cloth to put in his mouth. That will ruduce swelling and pain. Tylenol is probally the best thing to give him. Good luck!

it sounds like he is definitly teething. doctors have told me not to give my son the oral numbing medications because children are getting too much in their throat from us putting too much in their mouths. i use teething tablets from walmart and they are awesome and they are a homeopathic remedy. i also let my son chew on a frozen waffle or a popsicle that was still closed to help with the pain. i hope this helps. good luck teething is definitly an interesting adventure.

IF he is teething. they have these little pea size pills called HUMPHREYS. I know you are like no pills for the baby. but they are actually safe and they dissolve on his gums as soon as you place them in his mouth so you don't have to worry about him choking. trust me my son took them and they shut him right up and stop him from trying to put everything in his mouth. you can get them from a rite aid, cvs, or walmart

Any of those teeth numbing things dont really work all that great, they always ware away to quickly. I always gave my kids motrin and that seemed to work the best.
