I've heard that baby is unable to support the body's weight. So if u aid the baby to walk or stand, it can cause the legs to become like a bow. Is it true?

How accurate is the time of birth in birth certificates?
And i am talking about minutes here. Are doctors and nurses always quite precise when it comes to taking notice of the birth time of a newborn baby? When they say 7:44, could it have easily been 7:38 or 7:50?
It's for astrological purposes.

my son''s diper rash is between his butcheeks and between creases on his thighs. It's not to red just reddish, doesn't seem to bother him, yet won't go away. any suggestions

I just gave birth to my son on 4/12/07. Tonight I noticed his nose whistles a little when he breathes. It's a very faint noise, and can only be heard when holding him close or when the room is quiet. I looked in it and can see a few little boggies up there. (sorry to be graphic) I tried a nasal aspirator but it seems too large and I don't want to hurt him. It doesn't seem to be affecting his breathing. What can I do to remove them or should I just leave them be? I thought about calling his doctor but I dont want to bug him for something so small.

My 8 month old hates being on her belly, therefore crawling is not happening. she kind of walks (obviously with me holding her hands). She can roll over, but stays on her sides most of the time. Any advise on how i could get her interested in being on her belly

He was born rather small (5 lb 10 oz) but i think he should have been bigger by now. IS his weight now ok. He eats 6 times a day 5 oz each feeding. I actully force him to eat the 5 oz he only wants to eat 4oz. How can I have my son gain weight faster

should a 7 month old baby drink in one day???my baby only weighs 16 pounds and my doc said she is little for her age so he told me to make her drink 40 ounces a day but she will not do that she barley gets 30 a day!!!what can i do to make her drink more???i think my doc is physco lol

Hi I just recently started my 4 month old on solids. I know he's young and some people wait longer but I read that if he could sit with help that it's okay, which he is, among other things.

I've been feeding him (stage 1 foods) when he's hungry and he opens his mouth and pushes the spoon in, etc but today for some weird reason I was feeding him, he eat the whole thing and did the same signs as if he wanted more but he stuck his fingers in his mouth and threw up! I'm wondering if i'm not reading his signs well that's he's had enough... I don't get it, he pushed the spoon in and opened his mouth for more, why did he throw up?

Is it possible that he's just not ready or am I missing his cues somehow?

My 5 month old has always scratched her face. I have her nails so short, and put them across my face to make sure they can't scratch. But, she digs her nails into her face. With this being my second child, I haven't freaked out. I've been putting stuff on her face to sooth the scratches and figured she'd grow out of it.
But, this morning I freaked out! When I went to get her out of her crib - she had blood on her pajamas and blanket. She dug her nails into her cheek. She didn't cry at all thru the night or in the morning. Maybe she just did it in her sleep?
Is there anything other than those mittens? Anything I can use right away if I don't make it to the store for those tonight?
