my daughter is 6 weeks old, and starting at about 2 weeks, she started grunting A LOT, and throwing fits, and when you change her diaper, she turns bright red, and kind of yells. also, when she's got a pacifier, and goes "ow ow ow ow", and she's just really noisy. she's also a very restless sleeper. she HATES to be swaddled. she screams if you do, and while she's sleeping ,she rolls from side to side, and grunts, and cries out, and throws her arms all over. is she alone, or has any one else had a baby as noisy as her?

As the mother of a newborn it breaks my heart when my son makes that 'huh huh huh' cry that means he is hungry.

How could anyone bear it if their baby is sobbing with hunger but they have no food for him?

What if everyone who reads this question donates just £1 to a charity tomorrow?

I will if you will!

:)

My son is 2 months old...Am I spoiling him by buying him thousands of dollars in clothes? He has all brand clothes. These are some things that are in his closet:

http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid...

These are just a few things...He has a walk in closet and it is all full of clothes. He has 4 pairs of Puma shoes, 3 pairs of Nikes, 5 pairs of Ralph Lauren, and a couple of pairs from Gap. Is he being spoiled? We do live in a large 6 room house, we would be classified as upper class, but am I spoiling my son?

My son has difficult to manage hair and I thought it would be easier with gel, but I don't want it to harm him in any way. Any ideas?

I have an 8-month old daughter who is very active. We're visiting her grandma next week and my daughter would not be able to sleep in a bed. She moves a lot while she sleeps and often tries to crawl off of the bed when she gets on one. I bought a portable tent, but it's too small and I know she'd go crazy with it zipped, plus it has no padding. A portable crib is a little steep price-wise. Does anyone have any good products or ideas that might work for her week at grandma's???

I had my first baby 3 weeks ago. I was wondering after you have a baby how long does the bleeding last? I've heard that it can last the entire 6 weeks of recovery, but my bleeding stopped after 2 weeks. Was this normal? Also when will my period come back?

Is there any way to get my 3 week old baby girl on a schedule? Or is she still too young? She sleeps and eats whenever she wants now and is really tiring my husband and I out. And if she is still too young, at what age is it possible?

Hi Everyone,

My daughter's doctor told me not to start my 6 month old on jarred meat entrees until she is 9 months of age because babies are unable to digest meat until that age.

I find this interesting, because another doctor I took her to said to start her on ALL stage 2 (including meats) at 6 months old.

I'm confused.

When did you start your little darling on jarred meats (such as chicken and rice).

Thanks for your answers!

Which spelling is better or which spelling do you prefer? You can say why too (naming an Italian baby girl to be born soon).

we are trying to pick out a crib... that meets all regulations, has bars on all 4 side, very sturdy, and isnt too expensive. I usually look on Amazon.com at the stars an reviews, but there are like none for any of the cribs! I think I would like one I could possibly buy at walmart, taget, babies r us (something near us - a store we trust)

has had a low grade fever for 3 days now. He wakes up and his temp is about 99.4. I take his temp everytime I change him(just these past 3 days) and as the day goes on the temp only goes up. It has never gone above 100.9. But why is this happening. I called his doctor and they say it might be teething to just watch him. Has anyone experienced this? Should I call back and make an appointment for him??

We just brought home our child this week. He has 3 cousins that live nearby. This week 2 of those cousins got lice at their school. The one cousin that didn't get it wants to visit. I told his mom no. I can't take the chance of lice getting into my house or is this too protective? My son's twin sister is still in NICU and I honestly don't need another headache of lice in the house. His mom said he is clean but I don't want to take a chance. Agree or Disagree? The boy has been home for less than 2 days.
