I have had 3-I stopped after about 2 weeks with all of them. The longest was at 3 weeks. I got my period again within a month. It should go back to normal pretty quick. The best thing you can do is-call the doc and ask.

Well I bleed for 4 weeks and got my period back at 7 weeks, they say that any were from 2-6 weeks for bleeding and 4-10 (at VERY most) for period.( I am talking about week 4-10 after baby)( ps I did not breast feed so that is why mine came back in that time frame but if you breat feed then it can take a LONG time)

If the bleeding is on a regular basis she desires to be certain a distinctive wellbeing care expert, if she went to my wellbeing care expert and informed him she have been bleeding each and every for the reason that giving delivery he could in all probability positioned her interior the wellbeing center that day and get some exams performed suitable away. After having a baby you generally have some bleeding after the delivery lasting from various days to as much as 8 days and then end. Then it ought to purely be 2 to 3 weeks to as plenty a six weeks and you will have a common cycle an it fairly is any the place from very mild to vey heavy. the 2d standard cycle ought to be back to what ever is conventional to you. She desires to be certain a doctor that's no longer linked with the clininc or docs she generally sees.

I stopped bleeding the first week I was home from the hospital, when my son was 9 days old. But my sister bled for 8 weeks, and my other sister bled for 6. It really just depends on your body.... As for normal periods, it may be a while. Again, same answer- depends on your body: My period was back a month after my son was born, but both of my sisters still haven't gotten theirs and both of their kids are over 4 months old now.

I stopped bleeding less than 2 weeks after giving birth to my son, my period started about 2 to 2 1/2 months later, however I was only able to breastfeed for 2 weeks before becoming ill and not able to feed him. But normally women who breastfeed may not have their periods return for a while, as long as they continue breastfeeding.

Every woman is different...I typically stop bleeding after 4 weeks and I didn't get my first period for 9-10 months! Breastfeeding will have an effect on this. Good luck!

Consider yourself lucky. Mine also stopped quickly and I was glad. Unless you begin to have foul smelling discharge, I say jump for joy. As for the period, that depends. Are you breastfeeding? exclusivly? maybe 4-6 months. Formula feeding or supplementing? Sooner maybe in a month or two. Just tote some tampons just in case.

Everyone's different. With my 1st two(both vaginal deliveries) I only bled 2 1/2 wks. With my twins (c-section) it was more like 5 wks. As for period returning, it may take couple of months, BUT if you're breastfeeding, you may not have one at all until you stop. That's how mine was!
