I have never used gripe water. I have used to the teething tablets and orajel. when my daughter was real little the teething tablets worked. Now that she is older they dont seem to as well. I do use the orajel and that seems to work ok. I know people that swear by the tablets, but I also know people that swear by the orajel. It is just what seems to work with your child.

I don't think the Gripe Water will work, but Little Remedies does make a Teething gel and a really effective Teething Ring (they are usually packaged together too!).

I liked the Hilands Teething Tablets found at Walgreens or other drug stores. They are homeopathic, they really helped, they have no side effects and my dr. said they were fine to use.

Get a damp washcloth and put it in the freezer for a while. He can chew on it and it is nice and cold to soothe the gums.
