My 20 days old baby , , We like to give fully breast milk
But some of my friends say , Only breast feeding will not fill the babies stomach very well, give the milk powders also one or two times a day ,

Which is the best opting can give one or two times a day the baby powders

Trying to get my 7 month old used to the sippy cup. My daughter never drank water from birth. When we tried, she knew the difference between water and milk due to taste.

Any fluid must have flavour, she'll drink milk and likes to be spoon fed veggie and meat broths. I don't want to introduce juice until she drinks water.

I personally don't have a problem if she learns from a sippy cup with milk. I just want her to accept alternate fluids between milk feedings and don't want her hooked on juice. Especially when it hits summertime. If I give her diluted milk she'll drink it because there's taste.

Did anyone else has this problem?

my sons gf has been so rude to me when all i did was help her and mentaly suport her for 10 months, now she and her friend who is 45 yrs old and she my sons gf is 20 yrs old, are chummy, well anyways now my sons gf and i got in an arguement reagrding my son, she has been so rude and two faced of me latley that i got to the point i told her if she dont respect me anymore dont come to my house. she picked to not respect me and is saying to my son she will nevr bring baby to my house and wont let us see him(grandchild) she is mad also because i wanna be called nanna not grandma.. just my preference is all. seems to me she is using this baby as a hostage bag, sorry i cant play that game, my son lives at home and she lives with her parents... and my son does not go to her home either. so they drive around the city with the baby when she does come see m y son for the day. this is evryday for many hours. anyways what should i do? i tried talking to her, son on her side,

I have a 3 month old and i have tried to put him in his crib and he wakes up every time i put him down....i put him in his bassinet most of the time and try to rock him but hes been sleeping with me and i dont want that but thats the only way he sleeps

My daughter's pediatrician has told me a few times that there isn't any conclusive evidence that fevers are linked to teething.

I'm not sure I buy it. Do your babies get a fever when they're getting teeth in?

If so, how do you get the baby to latch after they get used to the shield?? I have been using the shield since he was a couple days old because I was really badly engorged and he couldnt latch on. I went to the doctor last night and I am now on antibiotics for mastitis and I have been draining both breasts so they are not so hard.
I have heard of people cutting off the end of the shield gradually but then again I read that that can irritate the baby's mouth. I don't want to cut it if I don't have to because I only have one and I don't want to be so dependant on it that I have to buy more. Breastfeeding is supposed to be cheap!!!
I don't want to have to go back to the hospital and tell them they didn't help me and they are not supportive enough, but it's not like I have a ton of support here. I plan on taking a day and just working all day on trying to get him to latch no matter how stressed I get but I need some ideas. He is 16 days old and gaining weight really well.

Please dont take it as a joke. I am serious. Me and one of my friend slept with a girl. He slept with her in the night and the following morning i sleep with her.

After few days she sleep with one of my other friend and then another of my friend and none of them use the condem. after two month she come to us and she goes that she is pregnant and she thinks that its either me or my friend because both of us were the first two to sleep with her. But my friend sleep with her before me. And i want to know scietifically that how can i found out that who is the father of the baby. As she has given a birth to a girl few days ago.

Please if you are a doctor could you please explain me in details that what actually happen in this case. That was the only time i have done something with her.

I give her apple-prune juice and the baby fruits to help, but they dont seem to help...I have been giving her supporties after a few days and then she will have one, but it is really hard and she cries and strains when she passes it...what can i do to get her more regular and softer stools?

She is still only taking 4 oz at a time.. and only has about 8-9 bottles a day(from wake up to wake up) She is a tiny little thing for her age(but always has been, only 5lbs 11 oz at birth, full term)
Dr says she is fine and healthy and growing steadily,(she eats 3 full meals a day and eats till she is full) but it worries me that she hasnt started to take more than 4-5 oz at a time of formula.
I think I'm kinda confused.. should i ask my dr?

My niece is still on formula and i can't understand why my sister has not yet started her on solid foods. I know all babies are different but, i thought normally babies should start solids at around 5-or 6 mths. My son did. What do you think ?
