My son is 7 months old and he just rolls over to his back when we try. He was born 1 month preemie, but none of his other achievements have been delayed. He sleeps on his belly though, so he spends a lot of time on his tummy.

We tried to send the dogs over to my parents for a week but she went crazy barking and growling. The DR says that it's normal for her to imitate sounds, but it's a little upsetting since we have been trying to teach her human sounds from the begining.

My 4 month old is trying to turn in her sleep to her stomach. I would not have anything against it except that she does not turn her head to the side, she lies flat. She used to sleep on a sleep ppositioner but now she hates it and is all over her crib. I tried to turn her head to the side but she keeps putting it back straight. This morning I found her face down on the mattress. I don’t know how long she has been in that position, but thank God she is OK. I can’t even think of what could have been if the mattress was softer.
What can I do to stop her from sleeping on her stomach or at least face down?

Wife is going back to work in two weeks and our newborn will just not drink out of a bottle. Any, any any helpful hints on getting a breastfed baby to bottle feed would be thankfully received.

I am 20 years old and my X G/F was 19 when my baby was born. My baby is 4 months old now. 4 weeks after the she gave birth, she broke up with me, and within a matter of 4 days was seeing a 31 year guy with a 14 year old daughter. Come to find out this guy sells heroin and now my baby's mother is shooting dope. I don't know what to do. She is refusing to get help. A little girl needs a mother growing up , not an addict. I know a lot of kids I grew up with who got addicted to heroin, so i called them up to ask them questions and they told me it's so hard to kick the habbit. What would you do Please answer I wuld appricate it. I want my baby to have a mother

My 6 month old has had a cold now for about 2 weeks. I took her to our Dr and gave her an inhaler. Since she has started taking it, her cold has come on full force. She has never had a fever with this cold. She is not eating as much, but she is still eating and drinking. She does have a cough. Can she take anything...I have saline for her nose and we keep her room cool. We put a cold air vaporizor in her room when she is not in it, as we cannot hear her throught the monitor when it is on.
How can we make our little one more comfortable?? She is a happy little one, just has a cold.

My neice is 7 months.
I don't know what happened but she won't move her neck to the right side, I think she has a "crook" in it [Sp?] I know it's nothing serious she isn't injured and she just went to the doctors because she teething and had a temp and they did X-Rays and all that. She is fine she screams and laughs and plays it just seems like her neck is kinda sore.
What can I do?
I know how to pop it, but Im not going to do it on her!!

My 6 day old son doesn't sleep at night, and eats every single hour! Someone said for me to put plain rice cereal in his bottle, but not much just a little amount. Has anyone done this and does it work? I'm not doing it until I consult a doctor, but I just wanted to know someone elses experience with this thanks

I am having trouble finding a mirror that will stay put in the backseat of my car so I can see my baby in her rear facing car seat.
I bought one but it has a strap that is supposed to keep it up-right, the problem is this strap is supposed to connect to something on the rear deck (under the rear window)and I don't have anythig for it to connect to.
I have tried velcro hooks, but they don't stay put because the rear deck is covered with carpet.
The car is a 1991 Toyota Corolla.
If anyone has had this same problem or has a suggestion it would be very much appreciated

I'm a nursing mother and I have a dime size dry looking reddish spot on my areola below my nipple. The spot itself is not painful, but my entire breast is itchy. I was put on cream (Clotrimazole) by my doctor on Monday and was told to put it on 2x a day and I have. This morning the itching is unbearable. He didn't say what he thought it was. Any ideas, please help! The spot has been there for almost 2 weeks now. My son has been checked for thrush and there was nothing in his mouth. I have also tried Acidophilius supplements. This is getting quite uncomfortable and a bit embarrassing.

My husband and I are both in school we live in a nice neighborhood and we have three kids. 10, 6 and 3 we just found out there is another on the way which we are happy about but worried about what people will say. we wanted to have the last one before I turned 30. I am 29. We live in a decent sized 2 br apartment near a nice town and we have the kids in the master bedroom with their own bathroom. We have a yard and our own Wash/dry. We also have a decent size living room, dining room, and eat in kitchen. Our only obstacle is that we can not buy a house right now. We need atleast 15% to buy one at this point. I would be happy to stay here. My sons bed can be changed to a loft bed and we can put the crib under it. We spend most of our days at work/school. and our rent is cheap. I don't want to move out to the boonies to buy a cardboard house that we can't afford. I would rather stay here and give them love and buy a house here when we can in a couple of years.
